If you are allegedly the wrong person then by now you should have "more than enough info" to do whatever it is that you wish to do. If your doing so well than you shouldn't have so much time on your hands. Maybe you should teach others how to have a "762 credit score" as you claim.

When making allegations about companies make sure that you have solid proof and not online hearsay.

BTW: Enjoy your life as a PROFESSIONAL CON ARTIST

Perhaps you really are "her" and that's why you have so much concern. It's interesting how much time your wasting on a website to complain and be an advocate for someone who you don't know.

So worry about you and matters that concern you, since it's such a concern FILE SUIT.

Your the one with the claim against her. If you can validate the debt then why complain on a website, file a lawsuit and be done with it. Perhaps you can't prove the debt and would lose in court? Why else would you waste time complaining online?

There is nothing wrong with collecting a valid debt. Just follow the law.

Thanks for the advice. My credit rating is 762. I believe my finances are OK but thanks for the advice anyway. I just purchased a new home and received a new phone number. I guess the folks that had the number before me had a few problems. I use this website to gather info on the collection agencies which refuse to stop calling the wrong people.

BTW: Enjoy your scam operation.

Wow... Don't you seem special only a fool would believe any and everything. Now pat yourself on the back. If she paid anything why can't she prove it? Did she show you proof that she paid? It sounds like your the one who wants to be a lawsuit advocate, so perhaps YOU SHOULD FILE A LAWSUIT.

Her info being posted online is her personal matter to deal with - NOT YOURS and it definitely is not defamation of character. After all since your the lawsuit advocate you should know the definition.

To quote a movie ...."Do you feel lucky?"

You like to talk. Now follow the law and file a lawsuit. I know you won't because your company is operating illegally.

Wow ...you know how to use a computer. Now pat yourself on the back. She paid what she was obligated by New York state law. If you have a problem with that you are free to file a lawsuit in NY state. You would lose but you are free to try.

Post her info to defame her character however leave you and your company in a actionable position. Her counter-suit would have traction. To quote a movie ...."Do you feel lucky?"

She did pay the bill .....the principal is the only amount New State allows for Payday loans. Payday loans are illegal in NY state. Next time you conduct business in New York state maybe you should read the state laws.

What happens when requested documents are sent and a debtor claims they still did not obtain information? What happens when it's found out that a debtor is either a repeat offender or a con artist and this is their way of making a living by defrauding companies?

If you stop committing the offense then no one will have a reason to contact you PERIOD. Yes, the laws should be followed ON BOTH SIDES.

WHEN VIOLATIONS STOP THERE WILL BE NO CONTACT

It is a violation of federal law (both FDCPA and FCRA) for any debt collector to disclose alleged consumer debt information, including any allegation that a debt is owed, publicly in any manner other that that permitted by FCRA.  Such illegal disclosure is a violation of FCRA without regard to whether the publisher is a debt collector or not.

The original poster has alleged a particularly serious violation of law against the lender, alleging that the loan was fully paid off within the limitations imposed by New York state law, yet additional money was removed from the account beyond that allowed by law, and that the lender is not legally allowed to even operate within the state of New York.

The response from this alleged lender was an attempt at intimidation, against the poster, presumably to coerce additional payment beyond those permitted by state law, and also against others who might similarly report illegal activities.

That says it  all.

Nicole Spector,
Perhaps you should pay your bills and you won't have problems with any companies or collectors of any kind calling you. It's really sad that you work @ VISION SCIENCES and still don't pay your bills. I don't feel sorry for any debtor that steals money from companies and think that there shouldn't be any penalties.

I do believe that collectors should abide by the laws but creditors do have the right to collect debts.

I also received a call from "Justine Miles" calling from 678-256-3874. She has been calling my work number and leaving messages.  She said she was calling from Schlossberg and Associates regarding file number LB289. She said that her call was in reference to a bad check case that is being filed with the county clerks office.

I called back and spoke to her and told her that I've already been contacted by numerous people calling from other supposed law offices regarding the same payday loan from Pepper Cash.  This loan was paid back via ACH debits from my account.  When Pepper Cash continued to deduct money from my checking account, I closed that account.  I also found out that it is ILLEGAL for companies to collect on any fees or interest for payday loans in New York state.  They are only allowed to collect on the principal amount of the loan, which they did plus some.

When I spoke to "Justine Miles", I started off explaining that it was illegal for her to collect or try to collect fees or interest on a payday loan since the principal of the loan was already paid off.  I told her this was also the reason they refused to send me any information in writing, because as I suspected, they knew what they were doing was illegal.  I also told her I have informed her office numerous times NOT TO CONTACT me at work anymore and since they have continued to ignore my request, I would be filing ANOTHER complaint with the FTC and also reporting them to the New York State Attorney General's office.  Then I hung up on her.

She proceeded to call me back and leave me a nasty message stating that I was immature, I don't know how to conduct business in a mature fashion and I have a problem paying my bills.  She also threatened that if I didn't call back to make payment arrangements I would be sorry.  She then proceeded to call my boss and several of my co-workers stating that I owe money but I refuse to take her calls to resolve the matter.

This b***h "Justine Miles" is lucky I couldn't reach through the phone and rip her vocal cords out with my bare hands.  Debt collectors trying to collect on debt they are not legally allowed to are the SCUM of the earth.

I truly believe in karma and can't wait until karma comes back around to kick this b***h in the face.
