Posted on 11/21 on a different site (I got a new call today but "they" hung up when I answered), re: 678-310-2840:
"Dummy called me from this number, around 5:50 p.m. Obviously a robo-call because no one on the line when I answered. When the dude, "Dummy"-a white fellow, came on the line he asked for me by my first name. Because he had called a business line I stated, "This is _____(first name) ___(last name)____. I don't believe we are on a first name basis." Dummy thought that was funny and laughed audibly. As I was writing this, I called the no. while blocking my outgoing number. A female recorded message stated it was the "Fundraising Information Center" and named several generic group types they might have been soliciting for. Also, I could press "1" and find out more information; ie., leave my phone number to get another harassing call back from them."
