Called me again today. Says his investment group wants to buy my business. Says I have to give them control of the business, work for them while they pay me out of the profits for 36 months and then I will get a bonus equal to my asking price. The way the scam works, they give you a little money down to get control and then promise a big "earnout" at the end of 36 months but in reality, they sell off any business assets, take out loans and then disappear with the cash and leave you with your small down payment and a bunch of creditors. Have not seen this scam for about 10 years, guess it is making its rounds again.

7 times already today....

Same thing. No messages. Calls eighteen times a day. Can't leave a message at this number. I am a legitimate business broker and would never do this to anyone. PS no one pays two times the asking price. Scammer.

Spam caller dialed me 20x a day for a week. How do I report this?

Called 3 times per day for a week and never left a message. When I finally answered this clown says, "We are interested in buying the business and I need to ask you a few questions about the business" I am a business broker and we have dozens of businesses for sale so I ask which business? He did not specify which business listing but says he will pay me double my asking price for my business. I ask how much my asking price is and why does he think my business is for sale. He says he need to ask me questions to pre-qualify me. I hung up on the clown.
