I had the best customer service I have ever received from Verizon from this number

Called today, didn't leave a message

Got a call back from Verizon corporate office, responding to a message I'd sent them on their website. The gentleman was investigating the issue, relating to calls and then texts allegedly from Verizon, but seeming suspicious. I've saved this as a valid number for Verizon. The original number that was looking suspicious was 770-250-2080. The gentleman calling from Verizon today said it looked like it night be scammers spoofing Verizon's number, but he couldn't be sure.

Received a call from this number saying X person was trying to make changes to the account, please call X person to give them password information.

Called Verizon Wireless main number, and apparently this is a common scam.
History of "spoofing" of the Verizon customer service number with these requests.

Always say NO and always check back with the Verizon number from their corporate website.

In my case, this was VZ. A few weeks back I got a call from a bizarre number claiming to be them at 3AM (ARGH!). It's looking like a scam (the number is somewhere on 800 Notes but I can't remember where), so I had filed a complaint with the FCC. This call here was a representitve following up on my complaint.

It is Verizon call back.  
I called earlier and requested a call back.
They only rang twice and hung up so I dialed *611 resolve my account issues.

Verizon Wireless Customer Service called me from this number in response to an e-mail left on their web site.  They left a voice mail message identifying themselves.  It is a legitimate number.

This is a legit call from Verizon. They left a message and a call back number.

MISSED A CALL DURING WORK HOURS... DID NOT ANSWER... WILL BE ADDING THIS NUMBER TO MY VERIZON WIRELESS BLOCK CALL LIST. KTHX.

I got a call from this number and the caller said "sorry, wrong number" and hung up.

THIS IS A VERIZON WIRELESS CUSTOMER SUPPORT NUMBER. THEY LEFT A MESSAGE. SO THIS NUMBER IS LEGIT.

Caller didn't leave message, called three times in a day.

This is a Verizon Customer Service number.  It's legit.

i am not a verizon user and why would they be calling me?

Got a call @1234AM. no caller ID. I picked up the phone and a lady was on the other answered but referred me to some other phone numbers. I don't remember what she said due to being brambly awakened from a deep sleep.

you are paranoid buddy !!    If you generate an email about your bill on verizon wireless website, they will email you and then follow up on your phone from this number...

I was on with customer service for Verizon Wireless (they are my cell co and I had called them). I was pissed about an aspect of the conversation, and I hung up. The phone rang a few seconds later, but I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message.

In this instance it was probably a CS rep just trying to help and existing customer. There may be other calls originating from this number with different agendas.

they are scammers and have been reported to the police in our local area as well as Atlanta. Verizon has a Federal case they are placing against them. Do NOT give any info to them. As for Fab, you are scum and hope you have fun in jail with your new friend Bubba.

This was a return call from Verizion customer service

Verizon Wireless calls me from this # when they are responding to an email request that I sent to them online. They are nice. Not a telemarketer

It was Verizon customer service calling to give me a 10% discount on my bill for the next six months because of some issues with their payment options through the website.

I had posted a question on Verizon Wireless on-line yesterday. Instead of replying by email, they called my number. Since I didn't recognize who it was from, I didn't answer. But the voice mail they left states it was Verizon Wireless customer service.

Same... This was from a call center from Verizon referencing an email I sent them.

Yes, this is a Legit Verizon Wireless number.  They returned a call to me from this number as well.

Yeah it is valid Verizon Wireless.

I have been emailing back and forth with them and a helpful lady called from this number.

As it involves them giving ME money instead of the other way round, i know that it is legit.

this is the verizon wireless billing dept that gets on to your case once you have complaint with higher ups and they are gennerally apologetic about it, also they are way higher on the coorporate scale than the usula customer servicess 1 800 numbers published on the bill, they are if you will executive office for billing issues for east coast usa

THIS NO CAME UP ON MY CALLER ID SAYING THAT SOMEONE CALLED FROM MY NUMBER , I HAVE VOIP AND THIS NUMBER HAS NEVER BEEN DIALED FROM MY PHONE, AND IF THERES A NUMBER THAT YOU DO NOT KNOW AND IF NO ONE LEFT A MESSAGE ON YOUR PHONE WHY WOULD YOU CALL SOMEONE PLAYING THE DAMN 21 QUESTION GAME.JUST BYPASS AS LONG AS YOU ARE NOT GETTING CHARGED

This number is actually a sophisticated Locator service (Hired by Private Investigators & such)...they are trying to identify the number you are calling and who you are, as your number probably showed on somebody's caller ID, or they have your nunber from elsewhere and paid this company to ID you.

They can SPOOF e-mail and the such from Verizon to get this info.

DO NOT CALL THEM back without blocking your own originating number...in fact...it is best not to call them back.
