they are calling if you inquire on their website. some auto dialer. Just pick up and the calls will stop.

I just received a call from them as well. Back in Nov'09 I call about getting someone to come out and they quoted me $250 as well. I call back and cancelled the appointment. I received a few call from them w/o any messages. I plan on tellin gthem off if they call again. Never Orkin again!!

Call was from Orkin.  The caller left a message.  I was previous Orkin customer and she wanted to get me to sign back up.

i agree completly.  i looked them up on the internet because my dog had fleas as well, i didnt not even call them.  they said to type in my number so they can put me through to the nearest location.  i don't live in atlanta anymore!  they have called everyday 4 times a day for a month.....ridiculous!   and when i answer its a machine.  then when i ask to be transferred to someone who can take me off their list, they ask me for more contact info like my address! uh no way!  they will start showing up everyday!

OMG! This is ridiculous! I am experiencing the same thing as everyone else. I called Orkin a few days ago. My dog got fleas and although I cleaned the house from top to bottom, I thought I'd call a pest control company just to be extra safe. The Orkin phone operator walked me through this whole big schpeel and took my phone number (which at the time was fine with me because I fully intended to make an appointment). After all that, she informed me that one visit to my 1,000 sq/ft apartment would cost $250!! I told her "No thanks" and hung up. Now they have been calling me EVERY DAY! But, as someone else mentioned.. after a few moments saying "Hello? Hello?" an automated voice comes on and asks you to wait for a representative. Which I am currently doing so that I can tell them to remove me from their list. I've already been on hold for ELEVEN MINUTES!!!!!!!

How do they do any business!?! THEY SUCK!

AM SICK OF THESE CALLS. If marked private or Unknown I am not answering it. Actually has been very nerve-wracking. STOP CALLING

I have been getting calls all day from them after I told them they were over priced.  I went with Arrow.  I answered the phone and it is an automated system that puts you on hold for a sales rep to then come on... 8 minutes later, nothing.  I called their 866 number to be removed.

I can't believe that I goggled the number and came up with this.  They 3 days straight, every hour on the hour.  I can't believe that anyone can do business like that.

Their sales guy was high pressure, and annoyed when I called him back and said we were getting other estimates.  He tried to scare me into using them by saying I wouldn't get the quality and service.  Terminex uses the SAME methods and materials (termidor) and was $600 cheaper.  I called this number back and got someone who could barely speak English to try and remove me from their call list. She couldn't pull up either my cell or landline number in their computer - despite the fact that all I did was hit the call button for the last incoming number on my cell phone.  Horrible...I will never call Orkin again.

I was wondering who the hell this was. They call almost every hour and when I pick up they say nothing. Wow, I actually did request contact by Orkin to schedule an inspection but due to their freaky harrassing phone calls I think I'll go with Terminex.

Thanks for clearing that up.  I'm getting the same calls!  They were calling continuously.  They haven't called in almost a week (knock on wood!).  If they call back, I'm going to call that number back and tell them to leave me alone!  If not, I'm going to see if I can file some type of harassing charges against them

Orkin pest control at 13230 Lochridge Blvd Covington, GA 30014. They called 6 times so far and are still calling and not leaving a message.
