Begin receiving calls from 678 area code in 2013 from "Private Call." Calls came in daily for about three weeks, then stopped. All calls allegedly came from 678-809-0380.

In 2014, "Out of area" calls began coming in from area code 678. Calls came once a day during the week allegedly from 678-369-9035. Then the calls started coming in weekly, with each call allegedly coming from a different telephone number within the 678 area code. 678-369-9919 and 678-309-5779 are the two most recent numbers shown on Caller ID.

Voice messages have never been left with any of the calls.

ex or not , why would you give them any info. on him or anyone you know?   It is not your job , nor your business.      They are paid very well to find people .  Do NOT get involved with them, they will call you continuously for info.  That makes you a rat with is far worse than your ex brother inlaw.    Karma you know.

and  you guys are being scammed,I have family in that area and went to high school there after being brought to usa by my dad, he owned a plumbing company there in the are for over 30 years, so I know what I am talking about,you need to make sure you  have a copy of the debt,and a copy of the agreement from the company, also payday loans are against the law in georgia,and  just so you know as long as you  can 50 on a payday loan they can not sue you,what is going on is you are being scammed and paying off the loan, but none of the money is going for the loan, this scammer will be keeping it and you will be stuck paying it again,sorry for telling you this,debt collectors in georgia do not handle payday loans because they are against the law,http://www.bbb.org/atlanta/business-reviews/c ... lle-ga-27303664, they company has complaints against it.

I received many calls from this number, they never leave a voice mail. When I called the number back from a restricted line. The message says "You are on a recorded line, Thank you for calling American Express, please hold for the next available representative"

all I know is that this is now my phone number and it is a business line and they are interrupting MY business. If they want their money or whatever it is they claim they are owed they should get off their backsides drive to the address of the person they want to talk to and face them diretcly

Calling to reward me for my perfect credit.  I stopped the service IONS ago and apparently, they are still getting paid for magazines using someone else's card because the card I used was cancelled.  Guess the jokes on them! I didn't even order magazines.  I just tried the service for the coupons and it turned out that they were no better than what I can get on Groupon, Living Social, the newspaper, Coupon Mom, ValuePak, or those Entertainment Booklets.

This is a collector that deals with business insurance scams where an insurance company offers your account for a small fee to a loan business not a bank who if u cancell the insurance then tries to threaten you with a loan default. Contact the insurance company and tell them u are reporting them to a state insurance commission for fraud. That will end these calls. There are dozens of these scams with a DBA an 800 number and a P.O. Box. Dont let them intimidate u and dont take the call because they will not tell u the truth, they just want your debit card so the can arrange payments. You dont have to pay them. There is no outstanding loan, its a scam, forced payments would amount to illegal entrapment but they are counting on you not knowing that. DONT BE NICE TO THEM! Dont ever buy business insurane unless its a large company and u have lots of money.

If this person was really debt collector they would leave message which they didn't do.  More then likely a scam.

This is a debt collector for Western Sky and Cash Call - who are now being sued by the State of GA for lending in the state without a license.  Western Sky and Cash Call are not licensed to lend in 21 states, and GA is one of them.

The only way a debt collector can do anything too drastic is to take someone to court and get a judgment. First, they must notify you by certified mail, if they are licensed to collect in your state.  Otherwise, all they can do is call. If the debt has gone to a collection agency, your credit is already screwed up.

I get  2-4 calls every day from 678-369-9030, 678-369-2899, 678-369-2719 ....Sometimes "Mr. Jackson" leaves a message for a callback...Ever notice how many collectors/scam artists use the name JACKSON???

I called and a guy claimed to be Vradof Jones from "Educational Referal Services"  and asked if I wanted to further my education..  I laughed and hung up....   then I Googled #, and it showed a connection to 678-369-4698     Now there are a few possibilities here >>> have you rented a truck, or  stayed in a Norcross motel/hotel lately? I also had a questionable action when I ordered a  pizza delivery and guy tried to grab CC out of my hand and take to his car...I grabbed back and let him highlight last 4 #'s in front of me

I got a call this morning from this guy asking for someone else.I told him he had the wrong number and he accused me of knowing him! I have never heard of this person he was calling for! I argued with him for a few minutes and just hung up.

this same number called me and he told me that he was a pi and his name was investagator robinson.. not joe thompson. and then i receiveda call from a ms.cartill who says he got fired and now she is taking over the case. two diffrent numbers

I received a call from this number tonight (8:15pm) the caller I.D. said "Thompson, Joe --- the guy said his name was Richard or something similar.  Any ways he tried to come off as he was an attorney and assumed that the my nephew was me right off the bat (answered on speaker phone).  Not professional at all, nor let ln this he was calling from a Payday Loan Collections Dept.

Beware of this number........He would not give me state a company name.

I got a Mr. Robinson at the same number.  He works for HBZ Financial and they settle PDLs.  I had two that got caught up in a switching of bank accounts, so they didn't get paid out.

Anyway, Mr. Robinson was VERY nice--he did ask about check fraud, but didn't paint himself as an attorney or anyone like that.  We settled one PDL (if you're willing to go a little high on a "good faith payment, they may be able to settle out the loans for 50%) and set up payment arrangements for the other one.  When I got to the payment operator, she said that NO ONE is supposed to make threatening statements or claim to be attorneys, so if someone tries that part, tell them that you know they're not allowed to do that and start pushing for a settlement.

I recieved a call from this number.Mr.Robinson was his name,I had taken out a payday loan and then somebody stole my info and money from my account,So I got behind on my payday loan.
Mr.Robinson was actually very understanding and let me pay a little at a time .I paid it off !

My mom got a call from this number today and they asked for her and asked her if she spoke English. She told them no, and they just hung up.

Has anyone ever received any paper work from this company or was it just phone calls?

I have dealt with HZB and to be honest, as long as you are willing to make the payments and take care of your debt then you should have no worries.  These guys can be called scum, dirty lowlifes, but they are doing there job and I am sure sometimes they get bored and get creative.  Pay your debt and deal with it.
