They are also on Match.com contacting lonely women.  The man who called has a very thick, hard to understand acent.  Albatross Marketing Minneapolis, phone number they used was  612-355-1007

I'm getting multiple calls on my US SkypeIn number from 612-355-1006, one of the Albatross Marketing numbers referred to on this thread. My US SkypeIn number has the area code 612.

Before investigating, I tried calling the number back and it just rang out. No answer, no voicemail.

I received a call today from albatross marketing at 602-358-0174. (phoenix area code)   I did not pick it up and immediately afterward I got another call from "unknown".  (same people, no doubt)   that one I answered and shouted for them to quit calling or I would report them to the DO NOT CALL Registry.   which I then did.

Got two calls this morning, first my wife answered and the person said it was out oldest Grandson and he was in Toronto, my wife ask which Grandson and all he could say is it's your oldest!  She told him he was a scam and hung up on him.  A few minutes later the same person called and I answered and he told me that this was my oldest Grandson and was going to have to go to court, I asked him what his name was and all he would say was "this is your oldest Grandson" I asked him again and then he said my name to me so I called him an "A=hole" and hung up on him again.  I plugged in the number and it showed it as being in our area code and Albatross Marketing was the name.  These guys must be really busy.

A call from Kingston, Jamaica saying I won 2.75 million dollars.  All I had to do was give them $699.00 via
Western Union for the wire charges.  The names and numbers in Jamaica were-Maxwell Stewart-Richard
Sidorski, Mark Montgomery and Courtney Ricketts.  The phone numbers were 1-876-467-1740--
1876-397-7506--1876-467-1740--and locally for Albatross Marketing--1-612-355-1006.  I played
along to get as muck info as I could as I was talking to the police.  Finally after about 15 calls, I put
a message on my phone that I believed it was a scam and if it was legit. they wouldn`t mind talking
to the local police.  I have not received any more calls so far.  11-9-09  They also mentioned Bank of
America.

I received a call with id albatross marketing and it was Bank Of America with a collection call. I assume from the above posts albatross is a service that allow anyone to conceal there real phone id. The id also used my area code. Bank of America just keeps lowering the bar.

We just signed up for Skype's $2.95 per month calling service. We decided to call some friends in a nearby town. They told us we showed up on their Caller ID as "Albatross Marketing."  Don't know if there is a Netherlands connection, but I think Skype is owned by a Netherlands firm. I'm assuming once I sign up for my "SkypeIn" number, that number will show up on the Caller ID of people I call.

I use Skype to call US land lines from time to time and the people I have called sometimes tell me that their caller ID reports "Albatross Marketing".  No idea why.

I also received a call from this same number. (also my area code) tried to call this number and no answer. This is also the same time that i have been receiving scam calls from what seems to be another country stating that i owe on  a payday loan and that i was going to be arrested for fraud etc.Couldnt understand a word that they were saying..I dont owe on any payday loan, but they had my bank account info etc..this really scares me..WHere are these sammers getting consumer info??THis has to be stopped somehow. I plan on making complaint to the federal, state and local authorities, WE HAVE TO STOP these people, with there fraud, threats, etc.

got a dozen phone calls from Albatross Mktg same name and the girl was rude when i asked who she was and who she wished to speak to but she told me not to worry about it but the second time they hung up when I answered how do we make the calls stop

Received a call from Albatross Marketing at 10:00am but the number was 612-355-1007. I didn't answer, no message left.

We just got 2 calls from 612-355-1006 - a young sounding man claiming to ber our grandson.  When I asked "which one?" he said "your oldest, don't you recognize me?", and then hung up.  A few minutes before, the same voice called and my wife answered and he said several times "I made a big mistake, and I have to go to court", and then hung up.  Return calls to this number are not answered.  This is some joke or scam, but we don't know what.

I've had a couple of calls from Albatross Marketing 612 355-1006 (my area code).  The first time when I answered he pretended to be my grandson.  Told him he had wrong # & I hung up.  He tried to keep me on the line.  Just had another call from them.  Didn't answer.  Tried redial & no answer from them.???

678-374-4445, "Albatross Marke", they never leave a voice message.  This is one of my local area codes (678) but I don't answer it.  I pay for caller ID so I can screen my calls.  We are on the "Do Not Call" list and pay additional monthly charges for non-published numbers (not just un-listed through 411 information directory) to try and cut down on unneccessary ringing in our home since we are day sleepers.

I live in NY and i've been getting nonstop calls from 518-478-6556 and 518-478-6557. Rings once and no one is there. It's a local number and my area code. No idea who this is.

I got a call from whoever this person is last night, I picked up cause I wasn't sure if I knew the person or not.
The person somehow knew my name and asked for me. Then he just started saying a lot of rude things to me. I hung up on the guy, and he called back and left a voicemail continuing to say these rude things.

I KEEP GETTING CALLS FROM ALBATROSS MARKE 678 374 4445 OR 4444. WHEN I REDIAL I GET A MESSAGE SAYING THE NUMBER HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED EVEN WHEN THE Y JUST CALLED ME.

I HAVE NEVER ANSWERED IT.  IT IS ANNOYING WHEN YOU THINK SOMEONE CALLED LOOKING FOR SOME SERVICE YOU PROVIDE BUT IS JUST SOMEONE CALLING TO WASTE YOUR TIME.

I recieve the call from marke albatross 678-374-4445 at 7:15 pm on 07-01-2008.  The phone rang only two times and stopped.

Called me a few times. I answered it and some indian guy who barley spoke English says I won a 1000 dollar online shopping spree... Hmmm No thanks there has to be a catch. Also called from 585-563-9901. They are still calling me after I told them not to.

We just got a call from Albatross Marke.
I suspect this is the same. My area includes 678 prefix.
I did not answer because that is such a weird name.

okay...so after reading this it is VERY awkward...well more than it already was...I have my own business & when I answer I say my company name , then my name...then the line goes dead, I call the number back & it says my call can not be completed as dialed, I just press re-dial from entry number on my phone...this is very strange, but it seems that we have different experiences....I hope to find out more info....definitely will be checking back for more info....

So this is odd.  I just received a phone call, the caller ID said Albatross Marketing with a 678 area code.  If fact it was a friend of mine calling from HIS cell phone with a 404 area code while in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

i got a call from albatross marketing saying i won 1000 dollars in an online shopping spree. it was from my area code also.

I got the Albatross Marketing and the 678 number on my caller ID a few days ago from a call coming from Europe (Holland).  It was from my snake of an ex-husband, which previously always came up UNKNOWN NAME.  I'm pretty sure he called me back via computer hook up, I know he uses something that's free   & it has to do with his computer.  I'll be talking with him tomorrow & ask him.  I just had to Google it because I had never seen Albatross Marketing when the ex called & what's even stranger, is that 678 is MY zip code.  I'll post back tomorrow after I talk to "the snake".
