Oneday you will pay for your action & your lies let's face it this company is very dishonest and is not truthful in the way they approach there customers with tactics of fear. if I had to guess probably most of you who work there are drug addicts, alcoholics and dishonest people all the way around the books.. it's a shame for other companies who are out there trying to make an honest living that companies like this get away with it....your a joke!!!

I'd like to thank everyone here for your posts.. I just got the same card. Phone number is different and they used my MAIDEN name. It has been years since I have used that name. And they sent it to my mother's house. I had never heard of them and neither had my husband. We thought we would check it out on here first so I googled it. Definitely a scam.

I called the 678-737-7460 number after getting the postcard in the mail -- lady was very friendly at first, called me 'honey' and 'sweetheart', wanted to send me the gift card and certificate for the 'free' water testing because 'there have been problems reported in your area' (even though I never gave her my address or city or county) -- however, when I suggested should should contact the Georgia Dept of Natural Resources to report the 'problems', and I offered to give her the number, her very friendly tone changed immediately and she hung up!

These guys ARE FAKE and you do NOT have the right to use DECEPTIVE practices in advertising. Otherwise normal advertising methods are OK and they actually work. Unless, of course, you have a product that is not quite on the "up and up" . If you know what I mean.
Actually, these types of companies can make an easy living for someone not willing to put up with this for long.

Wife got the infamous yellow/green card in the mail this week, Glad I looked on the net, don't want to get on their sucker list.  We have had some water issues in Fayette County, maybe they sent in a mass mailing.  Another possibility is that we recently moved a couple of miles to a new home, could have got our address from the realestate transactions....

Same yellow card, different person (Ms. Sparks), different phone number (678-737-7460), different address (12195 Highway 92, Suite 114, Woodstock, GA 30188).
Things must have gotten HOT in Kennesaw, so they moved down the street.
Guess they don't have sense to send the package they are holding (assumption based on REF# HOLD-600) to the same address they sent this card.

How can you possibly be upset when this correctly refutes everything mingylou says. The only person who what even remotely be upset is someone who is in on the bulls too. Seriously.

Also forgot to add. If anyone is scammed. Remember this is Federal and they can be tracked down for Postal Fraud.

I also got that pretty orange card in the mail yesterday hand written to ME too, even spelled my middle name wrong. Let them waste postage it will keep the postal rates from going up so quick and makes great fire starter to keep warm!

The fact that you made the appointment in the first place allowed them to identify you as a potentially easy mark. Might as well get used to the calls, they probably sold your number to their scammer friends by now.

I had made an appointment with Aqua Clear and late Saturday afternoon realized I could not keep the appointment.  I called, but no one answered.  I left a detailed message and thought that would solve the issue.  But, much to my dismay the calls keep coming.  Many, many times a day.  On my home phone and my cell.  I DO NOT WANT TO MAKE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT.  I realized this was just a ploy to get me to buy something I truly do not need or want.  I WANT THE CALLS TO STOP.

I have used http://www.h2odistributors.com/ for MANY MANY years, >10 years at least. I bought the system from them after doing DUE DILIGENCE investigation on my own as to what type of system best suits my needs.

I am in Cobb County, didnt need to test my water as I KNOW what City/County water systems have in them, we all do if we just use simple common sense neighbors! They are not going to spend money to kill all the bad stuff out there, so it is a simple numbers game and lots and LOTS of praying by the Water System Executives.

Do yourself a favor, find a company like them, dont use them (H2O) if you dont want to, but they have the CHEAPEST and BEST systems that you can install for a FRACTION of the cost!

The poor SUCKER who paid $6300 for a system, wow, what can be said! I just replace my filters per MANUFACTURERS recommendation every 12 months for my Doulton Candle that kills TONS of small stuff, and 3 years for my big filter (they work as a system together).

Be wise, dont let some FOOL take your money and give you years of payments. BTW, The big filter is $200 and the small one is ~$65, pennies a gallon for the peace of mind you get. You cannot buy bulk water from Wally World for twice that amount for the period of time.

Hope that helps, and honestly, I dont work for them or have any connection, i just buy from them and FEEL secure about what my family is drinking.

Got this orange card yesterday in Monroe, GA.  It just so happens I am expecting a shipment from a carrier other than UPS/FEDX, but after looking closely at the card, I thought something was not right.  Thank you all for reporting this!

The latest postcard is now orange, is now from ABC (not ACS) Distribution, says they've been trying to reac me to deliver my package, and now says to ask for Ms. Spencer.  The new phone number on the card is 877-987-8797.

I got the card today stating I had an order to pick up but now I know it was fake. Just Advertizing

Since I am expecting a package and since I assumed ACS may be a company similar to UPS, I thought maybe the company I just ordered a product from used ACS to ship the package.  So I called and when I was offered the $50 dinner certificate and offered to test the water in my house, I realized it was a scam.  And I told the lady so, "so this is really a telemarketing scam to try and sell me something?"  She got pissed at that and said, "No Sir, I am not trying to sell you anything."  Then she hung up on me.  First time a telemarketer has hung up on me, I usually hang up on them.

The best way to eliminate a scam like this is to waste their time!
Call them up. Make an appointment. Let them drive to your house. Stand them up, apologize when they call, then do it again! Or be there and stay on the phone with someone the whole time (it's been awhile since you've called your mom, hasn't it).
If they are really giving out $50 certificates, they can't afford a bunch of wasted trips.
After they've told you how many ways your water will kill you and told you what to do about it, tell them you want to check out the filter systems on the web before you commit. They'll know they just wasted their time as soon as the web offers competition.

I got the yellow card from ACS Distribution, thanks for the info, it said they " We are trying to reach you to deliver your package and we know our get hectic, Please call us to we can deliver your package promptly.  
  So it is a company that is selling filter systems?.  If so, I got suckered in to doing this 18 years ago, trying to sell these things.  The systems are a good, but like any thing (kirbys, rainbows, ect. ) they are over priced for what you are getting!! If you have had them come out, walk away, they are going to give you a hard sell like time shares.  IT IS WHY OVER PRICED.  Dont get pushed in to it.
  By the  way the person that wrote in the previous posting raving what this company did for them, (mingylou) either you work for them, or you are a big sucker.  No one has a good exp. and then goes on a post site and writes how awsome it is.
