I also am receiving these calls.  The 147 as well as 138.  Tried to dial both and get nothing but a busy signal.. I would like to know who these annoying people are and turn them in.

I received a call from this number and Caller ID shows "Unknown Name" and this is not the first time. I am really getting tired of it because I know that 147 does not exist. I wish they would just leave me alone! I am a sick person and I do not need some idiot calling me and never leaving a message. However, if it continues I am going to report it. People have nothing better to do -OBVIOUSLY!! LEAVE ME AND EVERYONE ELSE ALONE. IF YOU WANT TO CALL PEOPLE THEN GO OUT AND GET A JOB AS A TELEMARKETER, THEN AT LEAST WE KNOW WHO WE'RE HANGING UP ON OR IGNORING THE CALL!!

They claim to want to offer discount energy programs yet won't disclose their wherabouts just keep asking for  my electric/gas account numbers.  I'm an independent consultant for Ambit Energy and can assure that these people are not on the level.  They wouldn't disclose which companies they offer yet when presented with the name Ambit, they'd never seen it come up as a viable choice for eligible customers.  Hmmmm.....pretty strange since we have the best rates (including FREE) for referrals.  Whether you want to sign with my company or not, I'll still offer you the counsel of staying away from these people and do not give them your information---I have a gut feeling they're up to no good!  And if

Here, here!   Got the same problem, been that way for weeks.   Phone companies can't seem to help.  Yes, this type of harassment should be illegal, there should be a way for officials to identify who's doing it and prosecute them to the max.

I have gotten a number of calls from this number and they are all the same...they claim to be about my electric bill and company.  I just hang up each time.

Caller ID is NEW JERSEY CALL.  No message left also. 3 days now.  
I have made report to Police in case other people are receiving

Just got a call from this number as well. (Just after 5:00pm on 8/7/2012). Caller ID said Name Unavailable. I am curious as to where others who have gotten this call live. There have been a number of break ins in the area late in the day.

Have no received several calls from this number  - no message left.

Received a call from this number earlier this evening.  Did not recognize it, ande Caller ID only listed New Jersey.  Checked against a list of exchanges in 732 area code and 147 does not exist.  About an hour later, received a call from 973-147-8799.  Again, Caller ID only lists it as New Jersey, and exchange 147 does not exist.  I don't know who they are or what they're doing, but it seems to me that it should be illegal.
