I just got a voicemail saying hi ......... and hung up.  so who are these people and send me something in writing if i owe this debt if not stop calling me.

These idiots will sell their families to get a buck etc. They need to just go and get a decent job. A job that not only makes money, but they can go home at night feeling like their consciences are clear as day. GOOD GRIEF. THESE FOOLS ARE IGNORANTS. JUST DUMB, DUMB, AND DUUUUMMMMBBB!!!!

Tri - state financial called me today and told me that I was going to jail stating if I did not pay this loan but I never received from payday loan.com the investigators name was Ms Lee also talk to there fake attorney miss Novak Miss Lee told me if I did not pay today that I could be facing suspension charges on my driver's license when I look at this company it shows that this company has in another office in Buffalo New York American acceptance on by his big brother James Nelms 3rd I never had a payday loan in my life I have reported this company to the FBI & district attorney's office Tri State financial owner Michael Nelms, They have not contacted me back after I told him I had attorney

This is a SCAM folks. They call constantly. Now I simply deny that it's me and they hand up and usually don't call back.

I just received the same call, person was very rude when I told them I was going to report them to the FTC and attorney general.   I hung up on them, they called back so I was ready for them.  I have a fog horn so when she started up again I press the button on the fog horn.....she hung up, someone else called from there and I did the same thing as soon as they started talking.

Harrasing calls telling me that their are allegations filed against me and to retain an attorney. I get these calls from all different numbers. When I confront them they hang up or yell back.

Unfortunately a lot of these calls are spoofed numbers which makes it harder for the government to track them down! While the DNC does keep the honest business's honest, it doesn't stop the crooks, scammers, frauds and extortionist from calling!  Right now there are a lot of Extortionist calls being made! While some may be actual attorney's, they are working on the seedy and illegal side and in may violations of the FDCPA laws and other laws. Some are buying up stuff outside the statues of limitations, old bankruptcy debts and trying to collect on them and they do not care who they call, often foul mouthed, rude and just nasty..  

Please do file reports with the FBI, your state attorney general,FTC & FCC..

My husband received a call from this number on his cell phone. He is a truck Driver and doesn't need this kind of things threating him that if he doesn't pay the loan that he tool out he will be pick up and arrested. That is what they leave on the message. He gets so mad he calls them back and told them that he never had a loan with them and to do what they have to do because they are a scam and hung up on them. They did not call him back. This is not the first one he has been called about and he get's so mad about. I just all him to the Do Not Call List but we have to wait for 31 days before we call put a stop to them. I also get these call at out home also and our home is also on the Do Not Call List. But it really doesn't seem to be working very well. Maybe someday it will call come to a stop Good lick too all that is going through the same thing..

Yes - I am aware of that.  We have been getting phone calls like this from all over the country all summer long all different numbers all similar threats.  ALL SPAM and ALL ILLEGAL.  We have maxed out our 25 blocked calls feature on our CenturyLink account alone.  New ones are now coming through with new numbers they create.  It is so easy these days to create a phone number in any part of the country you want without even living there.  Vonage offers that with their services.  I know, I used to be one of their customers and if I wanted to (but never did) I could choose a phone number in an area say where I had family so that they would be able to call me locally even though I lived in a long distance area miles away from them anywhere in the country or even around the world.

There are a lot of threads here covering these types of calls. You might want to read up on them, also read up on your rights. Most seem to be fraud/extortion and these types of calls are breaking so many laws right off the bat. Do file complaints with the State attorney general,FBI, FTC,FCC..   Do read up on your rights also, and what a collector can and can not do!  Some articles on the right side bar and many of the threads have links from the mods and helpers here to the FTC web sites etc.

Just got one too today - it was an incomplete tail end message and what I caught and saved in my voicemail was ..."as these are serious allegations"...then..."thank you and good luck".  The "good luck" was in a very sinister tone.  Not sure what this is about but it shows up on the caller id as Tri State Financial.  It did not sound like a recording.

Got same phone message. Must be spam

Called and left part of a message with no phone number to call back.  Just stated "these are serious allegations against you".
