I got a call fom this number. They claimed to be ACS, a legal firm that was retained by a gym I used to belong to. They said that I didn't cancel my membership by certified mail so I owe them $200 some dollars. At one point in the conversation they insinuated that they worked for the magistrate's office and that this issue is way past collection (even though I cancelled that membership 4 years ago and this is the first I have heard that there is an issue). In fact that gym went out of business and had new owners only a couple of monthes after I left. They always opened late and it was very dirty and dark because they didn't change the light bulbs promptly.

I got a call from these people.  They were calling for an old roommate who had moved out 2 years ago. They claimed to be calling regarding "a legal matter that had occurred at my address", but refused to discuss it with me?!?.  The caller told me they were going to send someone to my house to confirm this person no longer lived with me! I hung upon the caller and blocked the number.  I then notified security in my community that I had received such a call and asked them to please notify me if they saw any unkown or suspiscious person(s) in the vicinity of my residence. I see from reading here that this is a collection agency. I assume they are calling regarding unpaid hospital bills my roomate incurred during the time he lived with me.

I get calls all the time from these people.
