called left no message. not in my area code  caller id said private name

They will keep calling you even if you are all caught up on your payments, sometimes only minutes apart. We just never answer unless they have a name for their caller ID. Sad, but true.

Please quit having your computer call, very annoying, I am in the market for a car, probably will NOT go to CarMax however

Maybe if you'd actually READ these comments than you'd see that alot of these people DON'T have accounts with Carmax...I'm pretty sure my 12 year old never purchased a car from them....but yet there content on calling that cell that is hours old. I have never dealt with Carmax...nor do I live in that area. As a matter of fact, no one in my family has dealings with them. So you can keep your fun facts to yourself....because paying interest on top of late fees is actually COMMON SENSE.

678-594-4800 called land line on Sept 30, 2013 8:03 pm. Caller ID = "Private Caller". 800notes identifies this caller as CarMax. I have now BLACKLISTED them on my new call blocker device.

This device BLOCKS 1500 numbers.   So much better than my Panasonic telephone which only blocked unsatisfactory 30 numbers.
If they try to call again, my phone will not even ring. When they attempt a call, they get an immediate rude click, then a disconnect. YIPPEE. GOOD RIDDANCE

They call my iPhone.   I don't own a car from Carmax.  They have called several times.

Ten thousand thumbs up- they've lost my future business and anyone I can tip off.

This number is the Carmax collection department.

My parents get calls 5-10 times a day from Carmax. My dad has spoken to them before and all they want to know is when he's going to make a payment. He's NOT past due and pays on the same day every month which is in frame with their due date. It's really annoying!! When he makes his payment they stop calling for 10 days then start up again until he pays. Then it starts all over again. This is ridiculous and highly annoying!

PLEASE stop calling my daughter's cell phone.

I've received 4 calls so far and the line is cut off when I answer, and no message is left when I check voice mail, UGH!  I don't know of anyone who is interested in receiving unnecessary calls -- especially on my work blackberry.  Time to call Carmax in Augusta, GA.

This is Carmax Auto Finance.  They will call and harrass you even if you are one day late on your payment.  Even if you already sent the check in the mail or paid on the computer they will call you until it gets posted, even if your payment is sitting on their accounts payable desk. They will call you over and over all day long even if you already talked to someone. They have called at least 20 times a day. Yes that is pure harrassment. They are going to lose business with this type of bad customer service.

It's not federal law. Law dictates they cannot call you before 8am or after 8pm. I know, my sister works in a bank's call centre.

These people call for Fry's electronics employees all the time.  They don't get past me though.  It's obivous they are debt collectors.  I tell debt collectors that no employees get personal phone calls.  Sheesh

Carmax will call constantly if you are ever late with them........... if you call them back and tell them you will pay them when you get your pay check they actually say "Well the calls will continue until we get paid" I asked why would you continue to call me multiple times a day if I just told you I am waiting to get paid at the end of the week........ the answer, "Just tell the person that calls you have already made an arraignment".......... But why would you keep calling me if I already have an arraignment, that seems like harassment. "OH...Oh nose yous didnt..... that aint harassment, wees aints harraseummaming no one"

Look, I get you got to pay your bills, but seriously this is ridiculous. I will NEVER ever buy a car from these people again......... its like they think anyone that was stupid enough to buy from them must be a total scumbag.
