Where did you find info on "these guys"? What info did you use to do a BBB search? I get no BBB returns on the phone number and if I search 'Kids First', I get daycares, pediatricians and dentists. What did your "more research" of these companies consist of and can you publish verifiable results?

Unexpected and uninvited random door to door selling has always been annoying forever. Fair to think that back in the day that the door to door industry paid Norman Rockwell to paint his wonderful peddler picture to make it appear that an uninvited stranger at your door peddling something is enjoyable, a must have. IT WAS NOT THEN, AND OMG IT IS DEFINITELY NOT NOW WITH 2.4 MILLION IN PRISON AND 20 MILLION PAROLED AND UNEMPLOYABLE BECAUSE OF THEIR CRIME, 49 MILLION ON FOOD STAMPS. Door to door peddling should have been outlawed long ago to help lower the crime of trespassing, house invasion robberies, and burglary.

Phoning, mailing, emailing, texting, pop-ups, TV ads, are all annoying, all driven by greed. Paid for by their gullible targets. It is a widespread epidemic and today and should be outlawed totally.

With all the technology today, the land should be free of advertising signs and clowns waiving on street corners. We shop on the the internet and use GPS (not signs) to find a place we choose. We call if we want to know more. Don't call us. For certain we don't need 100's of millions of stores signs on roads telling us how to get to a store. Technology has made them roadside trash. So quit trashing and put all advertising on an internet webpage in pics and videos. We can choose to read or watch. Lure us with a coupon on the website. Not by knocking at the door or calling.. That will work better than the obnoxious annoying attacks on us that are used now endlessly.

i received a call from this number...asked for me by first name.  I didn't get to the phone on time to answer.  I looked the number on the internet. I didn't call back because they didn't sound very professional.  I figure they can leave a message with their company name and reason for calling.

Received a call from them on our corporate line, the caller was very rude and aggressive.  If they're so "legit" like other people on this post seem to believe you'd think they would put effort into being civil.

I got a recorded message from this number. Someone was trying to sell me a "free" security system.  The caller violated  Pennsylvania's "Do not call" law. My number is on that states "Do not call' list.

I been getting call from Kids First 678-606-5525 but have not been answering. They have been asking for different people. Today when they callled I decided to answer the call to see who they are looking for. They  asked for a person that lived in the house but was not in. I told them that the person was not in and asked if they need to leave a message.  The lady just said no message and hung up.  I think that this is a scam call so I am reporting it.  Hope I didn't mess up by answering it!

I don't trust any of these scammers. I get at least 5-10 calls from different numbers sometimes the same numbers every single day. These calls are a nuisance to say the least. If these companies want to solicit their goods then do direct mailings. Then we have the option of doing business with you or throw the junk in the garbage. Either way you cannot force people to buy your goods or services anyway. I know people need jobs, but it should not be at the expense of others privacy. I am going to Washington and lobby for unwanted calls that are absolutely intrusive. I can't believe that the government is allowing these companies to harrass their citizenry. There should be a law impeding them from calling without some consequences. They should be fined and shut down. It's quite enough things in life to be bogged down with than to have  your phone ringing constantly. I know we as the people would like to have peace in their home. It's the only sanctuary that some of us have from the madness in this world.

they called my house 2 days in a row when my kids have answered. Caller asking for a "Brian"  When told they have the wrong number, the caller has asked to speak with an adult then asks where the adults are.  My kids hung up.
Today, they asked "Where do you live?"  To which my kids hung up. This is in no way a legitimate business.  I've reported them to the FCC and I recommend anyone else to do so as well.

The organization behind this group, Feature Films for Families, is a mostly LDS organization. While not officially sponsored or supported by the LDS Church, the films are produced from a largely LDS perspective and represents LDS values. I personally don't pass any judgement on the nature of the content or their right to produce and market these films however, the methods by which they market them and the seeming unwillingness to come forward and identify themselves and their perspective in an honest manner concerns me.

Further, their use of very loaded and answer leading "survey questions" imply an additional level of dishonesty in their perspective. (i.e.: the survey questions are worded in such a way that the "right" answer is obvious... its purpose is not to find out how you feel but direct you to a conclusion (buy their product or give them money).)

For more info on these folks go to the wiki article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feature_Films_for_Families

At present, these folks appear to be part film producers and part "active suppressionists" (the buy the rights to materials they find objectionable and then refuse to allow the distribution or public presentation of the materials... it is their right as the Rights holder... but it is a form of censorship by a group with a narrow, religion based, agenda.

Just got a call from these folks at 8:30pm. They simply asked for Chris and since no one in our home goes by this name, I asked again who they were trying to reach. The woman apologized and said there was no message. I googled the name Kids First and this number, and came up with several sites. Given that I recently lost my 7yr old daughter to being hit by a car, I instantly wanted to give these people a piece of my mind. I tried calling back and got an automated system saying " to remove this number from our list press 1, to talk to a rep press 2".  I pay for an unlisted number, as well as put on the DO NOT CALL LIST! I'm hoping I will not be getting anymore calls

They've been calling (and not leaving messages) for weeks. I finally was at home today.

"Is the lady of the house there?" (Straight out of the telemarketer 101 playbook).

Uh, what is this, the 1950s?

Any legitimate organization identifies themselves first, then asks questions.

*They also have shills (see bibleman) that are on every reporting site I've been to so far.

They called at 9:20 am. We have an UNLISTED NUMBER - an unlisted number means not public - not open to the public - what part of that don't people understand? They have no right, nor business calling unlisted numbers. This is a scam. With the exception of a mistake in dialing by an actual human, any unwanted call to an unlisted number is a scam, period - end of story. Got it?

It's a legit organization. I wouldn't doubt though that there are scammers posing as a part of this group and trying to get your personal info(Id, credit/debit card number, bank account number). Just be careful who you talk to on the phone these days and never give out your personal info! If you're interested in what they offer, CALL THEM so you're 100% sure you're talking to them and not a scammer!

The funny thing about your post "Shill", is the fact that all you read on the internet you find to be "True", the reality of that is so far fetched it's not even funny. I find experience is typically the best way to obtain information, especially in today's technology driven world. (where any moron can post something and it can be viewed as truth.) I understand that there has been lawsuits like you have mentioned but not for the reasons your listing, it has been because of simpletons like yourself who think the best way to get rich is at the expense of others mistakes. I for one am very disappointed in that attitude and commend companies like this who continually fight for the cause they believe in. so anyone who would like to check out what they truly stand for, go to their sites and read the mission statements! Fight for what is right!

It was a survey For Kids first, a non profit company trying to clean up TV. they also are sponsored by Feature Films USA, as they asked me for my permission to have them call me. Even though they are a legit company, and are doing good things I don't do things over the phone. Hope this helps

These crooks send shills to these sites frequently. If YOU had bought this stuff, would you look up the number days or weeks later? Of course not!

Fact is, these so-called companies have lost several lawsuits for illegal calls, and were subject to a very expensive judgment that they had to pay to a major phone carrier for abusing the carrier's system. Funny, it looks like they are engaging in the same behavior in a desperate attempt to raise funds to pay those judgments, if not to simply line their pockets.

Remember the money changers in the temple? Well, they've moved to boiler rooms in modern times, and this is what their greed dictates they do. It's totally disgusting, and then they make it worse by sending shills to try to sound like "happy customers" which is DISHONEST as well as disgusting.

Clever post, "BibleMan." Nevertheless, tell your employer (or whoever it is that paid you to post the phony recommendation you did---and please don't bother to deny it), they are violating FCC and FTC (not to mention state) law by calling people who are on the Do Not Call List.

If I get another call from them (and I recommend a similar course of action to  anyone else they call), I will not hesitate to file a complaint with ALL of the responsible government agencies.
