They called to say that they were filing check fraud charges against me.  They did have my SSN but did not have my DOB even though the message said that they did.  They are now harassing my brother.  Unfortunately, used him as a reference for a payday loan.  How can I get them to stop calling my brother?  Please help.

Georgia AKA land of the scammers. Had the same crap from a 678 area code last year. Funny thing was these morons called looking for someone with the same first and last as me, but different DOB and SSN. They then leave a message @ my sis' number for her and the other guy thinking she's related to him, saying arrests are coming and blah blah blah. They can't even get right who they are trying to scam. I wound up calling the number they left on my sis' VM about 20 x after 3 AM. The DNC list is a joke!

A rude woman continously calls my phone from this number asking for people i do not know. When i ask her to remove my number she becomes disrespectful and start to state she will proceed with a warrant. If this number continues to call my phone i will proceed with a lawsuit!!!
