Dude, good thang you called an attorney. I was advised to do the same a found out these people are some scam artist. They read a bunch of possible charges from a website to scare a brother and none of tfat crap happen. Folks be on alert folks tryin to do anythang for a dollar and these folks got the rite idea. Rob a joka blind over some bogus charges.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Request all documents from these people. As a consumer you have the right to know what you are paying. These people are scam artist. Have your attorney call them and they will leave you alone. They do not follow any debt collection laws. And can't I locate a Data System Mediation. SCAM SCAN SCAM.

You must work for the company because they break the law by the way they do things and notes for everyone, just contact your attorney General office and file a complaint....

@ Jami Wow really Ms. Trailer was really nice to told me all that i need to know to keep me out of court I told her that wanted to settle then she reinstated my mediation right for me to take care of this before it went t to court....

It's a BAD collection company. DON'T PAY THEM!!!!!!

I received a call today from this so called investigation unit. Her name was Nicole Trailer she claims that a cell phone carrier intends to file criminal charges against me for theft by taking. Due to breach of contract. She claims if I don't have my so called case (never received anything formal in the mail) sent to mediation then I will also be responsible for further legal fees and criminal charges. She refused to provide the name of the company or agency she was calling me from. I asked to speak with a supervisor she said she is the supervisor, lmbo. When I asked if she was calling from a collection agency and if this was an old debt she was speaking about she refused to give me an answer. Very unprofessional. Uses scare tactics and tries to fast talk you. Don't fall for it! Don't give out any of your information! This definitely appears to be a SCAM!!!!

they called me today, said that I was being brought up on criminal charges for a bad check that I wrote.  I asked questions about who they worked for and what was the company that hired them.  Very slim on information.  She did not identify the name of the company or who she worked for but had all my personal information including where I worked and home address.  But I called it back and kept dialing 0 for operator.

An operator answered it and said they were DSM, and I asked what DSM stood for, she said Data Systems Mediation out of Atlanta, Georgia.

I called my attorney and he said no one had the right to file criminal charges against me except the D.A. Office locally. Especially after the item was filed in a bankruptcy.
