Received a call from this number at 5:11pm.  No message left.

Answered the phone, the person said Hello and addressed me by my name.  My answering machine interrupted and the person did not respond after that.  I called the number back and a recording states it is a Fundraising Information Center for a Children's Health organization or a public safety group.

Called when I wasn't in. I pulled the number out of CID and dialed it back from the landline (obviously they had that already) and got a recording thanking me for calling "the Fundraiser Foundation" or some-such innocuous but non-specific name.  The message droned on for a bit, telling all the ways that we could donate to charity, but never specified which one(s?).

At any rate, there's just something that sends up a flag about being told how easy it is to give, etc, but not having a clue who or what I am giving to or for.

Uncool.

Called at 8:33 p.m.  Nothing said, just a lot of background noise.
