I got the same call from a Michael Fisher .....called back and couldn't get any info about who was calling me unless i gave my name...i didnt...looked up this number and called them back to let them know i am reporting them for fraud!!!

Got the same call from Michael Finch/Fisher (not sure).  A complaint has been filed with his office (no office name) against with the allegations of fraud.  It is imperative that I return his call to clear these allegations.  I have been advised.  Wanted me to return their call at 678-94-2191 and reference my case number.  

My first thoughts were to return the call.  However, then they know they have reached a good number.  My instinct tells me that any investigations or complaints are normally handled in a written manner.  So I am assuming this is a SCAM!

Somebody at this name claiming to be "Michael Fisher" telephoned a relative of mine (same last name). This "Michael Fisher" said there's a complaint that's been filed, and that he's a DETECTIVE conducting an investigation.

But as soon as I called him back to say that it's illegal to make such misrepresentation (I suspected this to be a shady collector from the start), that there's a fine involved, etc., he tried to say that the person asked if it was a criminal investigation and that Michael said "no."

What kind of "detective" investigates a civil matter? Over the phone? From 2/3rds the country away?

Very unwanted phone call.  Man called a friend of mine even talking about me.

Same guy... same mesage:There was a message on my voice mail stating that his name was Michael Fisher and that a complaint had been filed and there was an investigation going on and to call him back at this number.  He said I had been advised.  However, the name of the person he was looking for was NOT me.  It sounded like he was reading from a script...and not very well at that.  I am not doing anything about it, it was not for me.
