he told me he was a cop and was personally coming to put me under the jail was very rude with my wife when she asked him for documentation and when i told him legally he could not enter my house he told me " i can *ucking go anywhere i want to get you i am the law " he was swearing up a storm and real defensive when my wife asked him to prove who he was, he said he has all my info and i told him anyone who steals someones identity can have all that info just prove to me who you are and then he continued to get super aggresive telling me what he was going to do to me like he was a 15 year old getting ready to fight someone

Got a call on my cell phone aggressively asking for someone other than myself.  I've had this number for years.

Wrong number, but am saving  the number to my DNA (Does Not Apply to me) list and see if the man tries calling again.  Wish I'd known the information before, or I would have asked to be removed from the list.

Keep getting several phone calls a week from Vernon Edwards who claims to be an attorney.  He keeps saying that he is going to file felony charges with the Sheriff's Office against me.  Today he called and said I would be served with a summons today between 11 and 2 if I refused to pay my account off.  I've asked numerous times for proof of the debt but all I get is an email saying I his company.  I have yet to receive an proof of the debt.

Got this scam from Atty: (hic) Vernon Edwards making the same claim. This all started here in January 2011, but then it was Hollander Chase from the Marietta area. I have contacted my Atty. General, and the Georgia Atty. General. Also my attorney, and a log is being compiled of these calls.

I have also been receving harrassing phone calls from this company.  When I asked them to send me proof, they stated they could not do so because they were going to court if I didn't give them my debit card over the phone.  I never verified any of my information, the guy refused to let me off the phone while I was driving in a torrential rain storm, even though I told him several times to call me back.  He claimed I have a debt from 2005...REALLY??  I bought a house in 2009 and this was not on my credit.  Also, once he received my email address, everyone started receiving spam mail from me.

Here are some valuable numbers for you guys  www.naag.com is the Atty Generals website for reporting illegal debt collecting practices. Also www.ftc.gov is for the Federal trade commission. their phone number is 877-382-4357.  Ive already made the FTC aware of Davis Stubblefields and Global Associates tactics and they are looking into it. But they did tell me that even thought the co. is saying you owe this money THEY must send you original documentation for proof.  And that threatening you with arrest or anything like that is highly illegal! good luck.

Dont not pay these people. They are a fraudalent company.  You will never go to jail for debt and they have to communicate with you through the mail. Don't give them any information.

I just got a phone call from this guy..Something abt a payday loan..Told him to send me proof that i took it  ( back in 2007)...He told me that if i didnt pay they would take me to court..I said bring it on dude....

Investigator davis Stublefield from Global Associates Law firm keeps calling me about a debt he claims I owe to some internet payday loan company. he stated that there is a Warrant being issued for me and the sheriff is gonna come pick me up for check fraud charges. I have a bankruptcy atty and he told me to tell Mr. stublefield to fax all the paperwork over to him and call him so we could settle this matter. when I told Mr. stublefield this he became beligerant and child like in his words and actions. he refused to fax anything and hung up on me. By the way I am in a chapter 13 and they are already getting paid throught it. he is just trying to collect other money. This global Associates is a real law firm based in Korea. They deal with copyright infringement and patents. so not only is this illegal debt collecting practices< they are also illegally using this reputable company"s name. I have sent an email advising them of this usage along with all the phone numbers and Mr. Stublefields name. im am hoping this will help others get some peace.

Davis Stubblefield from Global is constantly harrassing me and my mother. even though this company he is representing is currently getting paid through my ch. !3 bankruptcy. so today when he called I told him that my atty wishes to speak with him about this matter. he got really rude at that point and started acting like a little child.

I had someone named Investigator David Stublefield claiming they are from the law offices of Global Associates Law firm leave me a message. Stating they have a summons that is prepared to be forwarded over to the county court office to be notarized and be processed for me to appear in court in regards to check fraud charges. He kept stumbling over his words like he was trying to read a script. When it came time to give me his number he had a hard time figuring out what number to call. I looked up the law firm he supposedly worked for and found nothing. I have dealt with these individuals before and they had given me another name that they were supposedly from. I have asked for documents to be sent to me in regards to the debt and have yet to receive what is required by them. They have sent me a letter stating I owed this much but not who the debt was from or the date of it. Just beware with these people!
