Continuously calls and leaves no message.

Just received this same message....I, (first initial and last name), have won $2.5 million and a car and must call the number back "as soon as I obtain this message".  My husband called back and he was told that we had to go to the bank and pay $500 by Western Union to confirn our intent to receive winnings.  My husband asked him how I was entered into the contest and the man stated it was a random draw for tax payers!  An east indian caller from Georgia to report Ontario lottery winnings??? LOL, come on!  That, and if it were legit, they would never have given my husband any information at all for a lottery that I had won.  I ceertainly hope that no one falls for this!

had a voicemail asking to call this number back. The person spoke clearly but was having a really hard time reading his script. Said he had a cashier's cheque for me for "two, six, five million". I'm probably not that lucky.

Guy named "John Smith" saying he's from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (I live in Ontario) calls to inform me (using my first initial last name) that I've won $2.5 million and a car and that I need to call this number back right away to gain access to it.  First clue - lottery tickets don't have your name on them.  Second clue - the phone number is in Atlanta Georgia which would be a strange place for the HQ of the Ontario gambling association.  Third clue - our lotteries don't give out cars, nor do they contact you to tell you you've won, you have to contact them. Fourth clue - "John Smith" with an East Indian accent?  c'mon.  Plus all the other telemarketers/scammers you can hear behind him.

I've called the local fraud squad and they have already been made away of this scam, though the number often changes...

They phone you to claim a lottery prize you won. But first you have to send money to this scumbag.

THIS PHONE NUMBER IS A SCAM!  BEWARE!  When calling this number back, you will be asked personal questions.  Following the question and answer period you will be asked to send a cheque by Western Union to a third party in Georgia.  DO NOT SEND ANYTHING !

We received 2 calls from this number stating we needed to call them back because we won a prize of $5 million and a new BMW. Funny because I never entered into any contest...I smell scam, scam, scam and am not caling them back.
