We've received several calls from these people today.  They don't leave messages  on the answering machine when they call.  Caller I.D. says that they're SDDS, whomever they may be.

Traces back to the company that delivers yellow book and they are checking to see if it was delivered the woman said

I keep finding this number on my caller ID.  When I call back just get a busy signal.  They leave a mesage saying I have been trying to get ahold of you.

The phone number starting with 678 is from the Island nation called Vanuatua. It's located in the south pacific in the Coral Sea -- It's part of the Island group called the New Hebrides. It is probably some telephone survey, solicitation or scam. Don't worry about it.

I also got a call from SDDS - they left no message.
I haven't used a paper phone book in more than 5 years. I use something called Google.
I wish these directory people would respect the DMA opt-out list at dmachoice.org so they can save some paper and stop filling landfills.
They are lying to their advertisers if they count me as having yellow pages - I recycle them immediately!

Received a call from SDDS Inc, which I did not answer.  If they are
actually checking to see if the phone book was delivered, they should
probably know that we received books two days in a row.  We now have two
as well as all our neighbors do also.

I usually pay my crew between .30 and .40 cents per book/stop . . .

They are checking to see if you got a phone book delivered.  That's all. No sales.

What is "Sad" about delivering phone books?  It pays pretty good and the people are ambitious and not taking welfare hand-outs!!  Nothing sad about that!!

SDDS is 'special directory delivery service' and they deliver phone books in your area. They want you to advertise in their phone books.  If you want to advertise, answer the phone.

got a call from 678-992-2430 caller ID said "Confirmation Call" Confirmation call from who? This came today Wednesday 3 Sept at 7:55PM (about 16 minutes after an "unknown name" call.

had the number and sdds, inc. on the caller id.  wasn't home at the time and no message was left.  received a new phone book about 2 months ago.  also am on do not call registry.

Called while I was on the phone with someone else, call ID shows SDDS, Inc.  Had no idea who that is, looked up the company, suspected based on the company website that the call was unwanted, so I checked here and see I was right.  They did not leave a message of course.  I plan to block the number.

This number has called my cell, several times, and my home phone several times.  One cell call registered 17 minutes and I don't recall talking to anyone.

I deliver phone books and we get no where near 20cents, it is more like 11 cents.

These people keep calling but I would not hog tie them and drag them in my car nor would I chainsaw them in half.  I have never committed a crime in my life nor have I left the state in 15 years.  This was a fantasy intended to be humorous and I apologize if it sounds threatening but they woke me up and I was really hoppin' mad.

I will let the law decide if they belong in jail or Guantanamo.

These people don't stop calling and I have my phone set to ring only three times so I will probably never get to the phone before the computer hangs up.  They woke me several times and bekong in prison with whatever nasty stuff can happen to you and they need a bit of waterboarding at Guantanamo and then they need to be hog tied and dragged about three miles in my car before I chain saw them in half.
