This guy is texting me too. Says his name is george. Same thing three year old son, building contractor. Asks me the same questions, sounds like out of a woman's magazine.  So glad I found this site. He sounds too good to be true. I'm sure he's a creepy liar.

I also had a " bobby " contact me, and had the same story...how creepy...who do u contact about this? I reported it to f.b, but I believe police should be involved...

And his FB profile states he is from and currently lives in Ft Worth.

I too recieved a friend request from this man on Tuesday, the day after the tornado that affected Moore, Ok. I have never before responded to a friend request from a man that I dont know.  But since I have family in Ok and friends in Texas, I thought perhaps he might be trying to contact me in regards to them, so I accepted.  He claimed that I came up as a "Suggested friend", that he read my profile and was interested in me and getting to know me better, and He said his name is George, he is 52 (FB picture appears younger), a building contractor, widowed with a 4 yr old son named Barry.  His wife died during childbirth and he has no family. Within 2 days stated he thought he could fall in love with me, which was a huge red flag.  Then began to tell me what he was looking for in a woman his goals in life etc. and asking me mine.  Texts were odd in timing, sometimes there would be long pauses before a response, 10-15 minutes, or would ask a question that I had answered before, it seemed like he was distracted and I began to wonder if he was a total con. Then he texted me at 1:30 this morning asking what I was doing. I was out of town at the time, but as soon as I arrived home, I googled his number and found these other complaints.  I, too, thank the Lord that all I lost was a few days.

Thank you for posting!  I might have really trusted this guy for a lot longer had I not seen your posting!

I, too,  received a similar message from "Bobby" on Facebook.  Claimed to be a single dad with a four year old daughter, a widower with no other family.  His pic was younger than his stated age, but i was interested, so I went so far as to start texting him from my phone, as he gave me his number, without checking him out first.  Started off nicely, then within a week he was "wanting to be with me" and calling me "sweetie" and talked of building a life with me.  I suspected he was not the person he claimed to be on Facebook and asked him to meet me.  I was not surprised by this, but he made excuses for why he could not meet me.  There was "i have a party to go to next weekend"' and "you don't need to rush to meet, lets get to know one another better first".  I also asked him to call me and talk over the phone which he said he'd had this phone for a couple of years and his daughter threw it in the water so he couldn't talk on it and couldn't afford to buy another one.  ( Thank God i had already read the above note by CA!). He said he was a building contractor and sometimes worked out of town.  I confronted him about my concerns of this not being what it seemed and said to him if you won't meet me, then we can't continue to talk.  His fast answer was "ok".  I haven't heard from him since.  Just be careful.  If it seems to good to be true, it probably is to good to be true!  Thank God I found out before I fell for this guy and possibly lost more than my pride!

I just got a text message from this # and he went on to tell me his name was George & that he met me through Facebook. I have no idea who this person is. He went on to tell me he is a 40 year old widowed man with a 3 year old child and what his likes and dislikes are. I prompted the person to stop texting me. Kind of creeped me out. :\
