Unknown caller - I didn't answer the call - they failed to Leave Message- Scammers! 682-305-2544/ 4-1-14- Law should protect the innocent victums from people such as this!

I'm getting the same calls. About twice a week. The one time I answered, they wanted to serve papers? Freaks. You don't get a notice that papers are going to be served on you. It's getting a little annoying. How can I get the calls to stop?

Received several calls from the same scammers... best thing to do is to keep filing reports and hopefully they will get busted and jailed, then a** tucked!

They keep calling saying my late exhusband owes $ n I have to pay it. They called my daughter a bunch saying they gonna serve me papers. She said her dad was dead for years but they say we have to pay anyways. He never had any debts. They wanted her bank info to pay this.  They claim they waiting around the corner to serve me papers but they never show up. They r scammers.

They keep harassing my daughter for $ saying her deceased dad owes. They want to serve me papers but never show up.  They claim he owes $ for a visa he never had.  He's ben dead for years n they want us to pay.  What a bunch of sick stupid people.  

Declined call - have received numerous calls from above..... stating they're serving papers..... today didn't answer.... declined call ..... 100% accurate in scamming....   no company name appeared.... came up wireless ...... I feel sorry for the innocent ones who fall prey under their calls.

I keep getting this every week asking for Janet . I'm not Janet . No where close . I'm tired of this .

I have received about 10 calls from this number. They are trying to serve someone who is not me. I continually tell them they have the wrong number and they get angry and tell me just to disregard the call and then they call back!

Below I say it is a debt collector, but in reality, they say they will be process serving this other person. Very frustrating.

Yes just got the same call,, asked if my Nephew would be home tommarow so they could serve legal papers,, when I told him if someone would be serving papers it would come from someone at our sheriffs department and then he starts getting pissy with me and I just told him good bye and hung up on him

Got a call asking me if I was going to be available to serve papers.  I said yes.  I'll be around like the last 30 x you said you would be around to serve me papers.   I wish I knew away to stop these people...   They have called my family   Which is against the law!!!

I have been getting call like this claiming they have legal documents to serve me for almost a year now.  I told them  that my number is under the do-not-call registry, and I warn they not to call this number again and I hang up on them.  I do not respond to people using these type of scare tactics to collect debts no matter how legitimate they claim to be.  unless they send me anything in writing, they are scammers.

These people have called me several times - interrupting my work, looking for a "Jose Ramos" - who I clearly do not know. I've told them so, repeatedly, and asked them to not call and take the number off their list. But they STILL keep calling!

Now I have someone from Riverside Fraud Division also calling me!

HERE IS THE STRONG ARM TACTICS THEY USE TO GET YOU TO GIVE UP INFO ABOUT YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS.

1st,they do a skip trace and find ALL of your relatives,

NEXT, they call relatives and tell them that there is a legal case pending, and that if they don't get a hold of your relative, they will have the case heard against them and will be in a lot of trouble.

NOTE: you can't hold a court case without a person if you don't properly serve then.  HENCE by you giving them your relatives info, you will help them harrass that person further.  They aren't going to court because that is too time consuming, but harrassing your relative and ALL OF THEIR RELATIVES ocollect an old dept purchased for pennies on the dollar is way more efficient for them.

WHAT TO DO -

Ask them for all of THEIR INFO.  Company Name, company phone number case number person they want to contact... etc.

If they haven't hung up by now....

Then tell them, they have a wrong number, what they are doing is HARASSMENT and thanks to some idiot that called last week you have a lawyer working to end this HARASSMENT and you would like to COLLECT A LOT OF MONEY FROM THEM, so if they ignore your request to NEVER BE CALLED BY THEM AGAIN, you will be happy to collect money FOR EVERY CALL THEY MAKE TO YOU.

This is a scam.  They have called me several different times from different numbers and it is always the same people's voice.  They tell you process servers are coming to serve you papers and eventually get to the point of asking you for  $50.  DON'T GIVE THEM ANY MONEY.  I have clean credit and they told me that someone is suing me based on an old debt.....which doesn't exist.  They have given me 3 different case numbers since they have been calling.

My mom received a call last week stating that the was calling from "process servers" and it was very urgent that they speak to me. She asked what it was about and the lady said they had very important papers to deliver to me. I told my mom it was a scam.  Three days later, the same people called my cell phone stating that they wanted to deliver important papers to me. I told them they had the wrong number. :/

Keep receiving a call for a Shaquita Johnson.  Have NO idea who this person is.  Tried calling the number back and they never answered.  After reading some of these posts, I will try a different approach next time.

Hey everyone.......Lets work on finding out where to serve THEM with legal papers!!!!!  They say they are looking for my Ex-wife.  Been divorced for over 20 years.  They want to know if someone will be home TOMORROW between certain hours so that "civil procedures documents" can be served.  The number is 1-682-305-2544 and lists the location as Arlington, Texas.  I have told them multiple times that the person they are looking for is not connected to me AT ALL!!!  We have used the Do Not Call route every time they call but the calls keep coming.  Trying to figure out what they are after.  Has anyone ever got so far as to see what the actual "Hook" is?  What are these crooks after?????      

They keep calling looking for a Peggy McGee.  I have told them that I have not seen or heard from her in over fifteen years.  The last caller refused to let me speak with a supervisor.  They will not even identify the company the work for.  They will not remove me from their data base, hoping that they will find her one day.  They want to send a process server out to serve papers.  I guess I should let them, then I can have the server arrested for being an accomplice or at least get the name of the company..

Bogus call saying I am being sued by a company but will not give me any info on the case. Asked for amount owed and they couldn't tell me that either.

Scammers trying to extort money from you.  Process Servers do not call ahead to let you know they are serving papers. Do Not Do Not give them any credit card or debit card information they will bleed you try. Report to local Police, Sheriff's Office, Attorney General in your area and file complaints with FTC.

It's a scam. Process Servers do not call to let you know that are delivering papers.  Call you local Police Department, Sheriff's Office and report to your Attorney General and file complaints with the FTC. These are people trying to scare you and extort money from you.  If they do not leave a name and will not give you any information or send you paperwork they are scammers.

I've filed complaints with several Attorney Generals for different states. I do not owe anyone anything besides my current loans, nothing is on my credit report indicating outstanding car loans or and I've never had a Circit City Card as they claim, or taken out a "payday loan" (I've read this is where they get some information). I work closely with an attorney in my line of work and they did call one day while I was there, I told the girl to hang on while I got one of the attorneys on the phone and they hung up. Nothing has changed, they still contact my family although they hardly ever contact me anymore. I did find out that they use magic jacks to have the number come up from different states and that a few States are working on a case - one Attorney Generals office asked to get as much information from them as possible; ask them what they want, ask them if they want money but NOT to verify my social security number. They will not give out their address for the attorney to send a cease and desist letter. And was told probably even if they did, it would be a bogus address!!

These people continue to call me but have given me false case numbers.
