he sent me a text message about an item on craigs list. he was very avid that i take the add down and he would send an over night cashiers check/ money order via FedEx and he would then have his mover get the package from me once i received the check. he told me his name was Paul Korczyk, and is claiming to be from Ft. Worth, Texas. He also wanted my name address and email. there are many names he is going by.

I got a text msg as well because I have stuff on craigslist but he claims his name is tommy chester .. wants to mail be a certified check or cashiers check I refuse to send him my name an address... if he were to ever see what my house looks like he may rob me blind... the kids and I travel and are not home sometimes for weeks at a time and I am from Pennsylvania .. I don't have much but what I do have I busted my a** for ... he claims he is from texas thanks for everyone leaving messages :)

Yeah I got same text too, off of Craigslist, saying his name is Carlos from Fort Worth, Texas! Take add down he'll buy door for my price! SCAM-SCAM-SCAM!!! Texted back don't accept checks! PayPal only never heard from him again!

This guy has been texting me about a car for sale that I have posted on craigslist. Said his name is Gordon Klee. Said he will send me a check & have somebody come pick up the car. I don't get why he would even be going through the trouble of this? All he has asked for is name & address to send a check too. This was 3 days ago & I haven't seen nothing since... There is nothing he could gain off of just a name & address, correct?

I live in Washington and had an ad on Craigslist.. number texted me said his name was Gordon Klee from Texas.
He would send me a cashiers check and take care of the shipping.. ignored it because I figured if someone wants to buy something they'll call me not text me.. a few days later he texted me again and I lied and told him that my husband said no and he was the boss.. I figured it was a scam to begin with... I mean really a cashiers check??

i also got a add on cl and he says that is name he is saying he wants to buy it his name is carlos waddington i checked the number and it says cl scam and i check the name same thing he is a scammer he wants me to remove my post says cashiers check is on its way... i wont remove the post until i have money in hand and if i do get a cashiers check im making sure its good before anything wont even cash it will take it to the cops and wearing gloves so not to smear any finger prints... beware of this guy

A person from this number is scamming people by using Western Union, do not send money..
