I just received this phone call from the guy who was inquiring about my CURRENT MORTGAGE. No details, no address, BUT he knew my last name. I'm  (stupid girl!!!), told him "I do not have mortgage at all" and he hung up.

Does anybody know who that might be?

At least which country they are calling from?

I just had the same guy call me.  Took too long for his answer of hello the first time so I hung up.  Called back a second time saying he was from some company named BCO debt consolidations.  I hung the phone up, he then called me a third time.  I said when I hang the phone up I'm not interested, he then began to swear at me.  In the end he hung up the phone, I guess my insults back at him cut like a knife because he went silent.

The caller named Sam wanted to confirm my address and area code which he quoted to me.
I asked which organization he is with and what the call was about and he refused to answer.
I hung up.
