Steven Hamilton and his Pacific Telecom scam company are not affiliated at all with the real pacific telecommunications company. I got a call from 1 (701) 264-5001 today and if u call back it says its pacific telecommunications group and that the number I called is disconnected...but I think its just a one way call system...all these numbers are linked to the scam artist Steven Hamilton and his company who claims to be pacific telecom, but the real pacific telecommunications company even posts on their site that he is not affiliated with them and they post his address and have a government official on the case and an email link to the officer detective on the case. Email the detective the number that called you and all the information pertaining numbers claiming to be pacific telecom and numbers linked to Steven Hamilton. I think all it takes is one person to track Steven down and teach him a lesson in justice in the old American fashion....just saying if the man has no hands or tongue to dial and scam anymore, problem solved...he is responsible for easily millions of scam phone calls pretending to be something that neither him or his fake company of people are. Him and his scaling company call from dozens of various numbers trying to scam the weak, old, young, and challenged out of money. You can call, email, and report all the official places which have been getting tons of reports, but from what I heard, at most this criminal will just get a big fine, that he most likely won't pay, and he will continue to scam and harrass the world through probably thousands of phone calls a day, if not hundreds of thousands a day. If you really want to talk to the criminal his address last seen was 12228 Venice blvd suite 559, Los Angeles California 90066....but if you don't wish to pay the guy a visit in person, email the detective on the case at mailto:rtyndall@ftc.gov  and give your story and the number that called you. My hope is that people start doing justice since the government simply doesn't in the case of telemarketing scammers....Good luck to you all. Also thank you for the numbers. I too called Stevens fake company n left voicemails. If I do get more phone calls, I will simply call n harrass him ten fold more than he will me.

This company only identified itself as a "major marketing company," when I called back, but gave the option to be removed from the call list by pressing 1.  I have done so, and they said to give them 24 hours for the action to take place.  I've been receiving TONS of these calls, so I'm hoping it will stop now.

Reported to Do Not Call Registry. Debt consolidation. Been calling for weeks and hanging up when get recorder. Hope they get fined.

Is there a legit reporting agency, or are you just giving your number in order to get more spam calls?

Called me on 3/28/12 and the caller id showed "procedures". They left me a message but nobody said anything. Good thing i googled the number before i called back

The company did not answer when I paused before acknowledging myself. Unable to call back due to using "call block" with my return phone call.

Just got a call from this number. No message. Called back and no answer. I gave my phone number to Game Stop a couple of weeks ago and since then I have been getting advertising text messages and now this phone call. They told me no one would get my number from them. I should have known better. I will never give my number out to any business ever again.

Did not leave message, second call today 03/28/2012.  No particular caller ID, except Cellular Call and number. Depending on your cell or land-line service provider, these calls can be blocked, check with your company.  These callers are trailing you should you order on line for any product.  The smaller the company you buy from, the more telephone calls you will receive. DO NOT call them back, they capture your number, unless it is unlisted and Caller I.D. blocked.  They get frustrated when they can not see the caller and number, therefore they hang up on you.

they keep calling six times a day and I have told this credit card want to be service not to call.

Where's Congress when we need them? Out there protecting business interests of big money companies
no doubt. I mean, if I wanted whatever it is they are selling, I'd take the initiative on my own. Except for an accidentally-dialed number by a human, there's no reason to ever call any of my or your phones.
All we get to do here is complain for months on end with no end in sight.

Received a call on my cell phone from (701) 217-1199 showing from ND, USA. I didn't pick it up. I never call back someone who does not leave a message; it means it is not urgent. I don't bother calling back since it only validates they have a real number and person on the other side of the line.

Received a call asking me to accept a collect call. I did not recognize the number so I hung up. I later found it to be from a town in North Dakota. I don't know anyone there! The call came from Donnybrook, ND from a cellular phone through Western Wireless.

My husband picked up the phone 02/29/2012  when a call came in from Procedures,  Tel. 7012171199 which I was able to see later on our Caller ID.  This was an automated call.  A voice said to Stay on the line to talk to a live person.  This is apparently a Cleaning company which is offering a special on their cleaning package.  Problem:  We are in Clearwater, FL and the company Tel# is in North Dakota!!!  My husband hung up and as far as we know, no other attempts have been made to contact us..

More of the same, credit card spam. However, they are watching their caller id, if you call from a google voice number, it sends you directly to some automated limbo.

Don't know why I answered when this number called. It won't happen again.

Got a call from 701-217-1199. Answered said, Hello. got no answer and they hung up. 1:39pm 2-29-12. Trying to play FF4 on my DS, Just beat it! : D

Another scum bag telemarketer!  Did not answer.  Something about refinancing home.  Why do they waste our time?  On do not call list!  They are going to get reported.  Right Now!

I run the switchboard at a large firm in Seattle. The robo call has tried to ring our business multiple times per day.  I intend to use our telecommunication software to block this caller.

The outbound msg is that we have won a home security installation.

Have hit "2" to stop calls w/in 24 hrs. Hasn't worked.
Have hit "1" to speak to an operator.  Hasn't worked.
Will continue to block whatever phone numbers I can.
I suspect that the 701-217-1199 is a spoofed caller ID number since so many of you have also received credit card offerings and collection sort of calls.

They didn't leave a message - we just missed the call.
