These phone calls are illegal.  They are resulting from one company that has sold your numbers out to a bunch of unscrupulous companies that are scam artists.

Don't bother calling them, you'll get ahold of someone who seems VERY nice, who says they will help you, and "Oh yes (sir/ma'am) that is illegal and we will do our best to take care of this problem" but they don't do anything about it, and the calls continue.

Right now for some crazy reason the Telephone Management Corp has an "A+" Better Business Burea Rating with the Better Business Bureau serving Alaska, Oregon & Western.  You can see it right here:

Go to the BBB website and file a complaint:

For "My Complaint Involves:" pick "a product or service (other than a vehicle or a cell phone)"

Go ahead and post your location on the next page, don't worry about putting your information there, the Better Business Bureau is a very reputable organization.

Next page, pick "Search By Phone" and enter 503-223-7747, then "next".

Select Telephone Management Corp and hit "Next"

On the next page, be sure to hit "Next" and NOT "Cancel"

The next page, pick all "No" for the different choices, provided you have not taken them to court yet.

Then the next page, enter your information.  Remember, it is important to get your information for the BBB to handle this case and get something done about this.  They are trustworthy.

The next page, Step 3, select "2331 SW 5th Ave Portland, OR Main Billing Complaint Mailing"

On the next page, pick "Customer Service Issues" and then "6-603 Innapropriate Behavior By Customer Service Personnel"

On the next page, go into great detail, describe how Telephone Management Corp has sold your phone number to fraudulent telemarketers, to autodialers, etc.  Explain that you are on the Do Not Call list (if you are) and also detail just how many calls you have recieved.

Explain that you want the company prosecuted for their behavior, that they do not deserve an A+ rating, that you will stand behind your complaint and that the company needs to pay for the illegal activities of those that they sell the numbers to.

PLEASE file the complaint.  Without complaints by good people like you there is nothing that will ever be done about these people and the phone calls will continue unchecked, they will NEVER stop.  Help bring them down!!!

Fighting Back

To everyone here.  I have been harrased by these freaks forever!  So i finally called the FCC 1-888-225-5322
I made a complaint and they took my case.  EVERYONE needs to do this, for my calls just stopped, YEA!  These people are fined like $5,000 for every person that complains, and yes they are also calling with a 701 area codes, they use multiple numbers all coming from the 701 or 406 area code, i think it is a call center and it is a huge scam, there selling so many different things and services as well as the ole you won this item, there getting people's credit card info and there compiling info to ship overseas from my investigations, these people need to be busted quick .  So do you want them to stop?  Do you want them to pay for what they are doing to you?  Then follow what i say, for i just cost these bstrds $5,000 and hopefully soon they will be arrested for what they are doing!

I never give out my cell or work numbers, and these are the numbers that I am getting these calls on.  i only gave these numbers out at 2 different places, my bank and another mortgage lender.  I guess it was one of them that sold it.

The girl I spoke with last time said that by pressing one, you are added back on to the list.

I get the same fricking calls at my job everyday. I do not answer. How they got this number?
No Idea!!  Guess what ! don't give you number at stores you go. Sometimes by the time you'r going to pay cashier ask, may I have your phone number??? I just answer: please skip that part. I heard that companies sell phone # list to their partners, and their partners passes the number ... so I believe thats the reason why it happen. This is a huge problem!!!

Same bolony keep calling 401 area code and 701 . Call back pushed option one to get off the list let's see what happens.

It's a fake Caller ID. They aren't in ND, probably in Canada. Play wih them, waste their time. When they ask how much debt you have, tell them $10,000,000. Tell them you are losing your house. Give them reasons to talk to you. Then tell them what they can do with their Robo Call.

Calls 6  to 8 times a day!

I'm getting them too, I asked to speak to management and they hung up on me.  That's twice now.  Try to call back and they give you a recording, you can't even get through to anyone.  Which makes NO sense, because if this was a legitimate business they would have a way for you to actually talk to them.  The area code comes up as North Dakota.

These people are ***holes!!  They have been calling for a month now, always switching their numbers and the name on the caller ID!!  Always press "1" to be removed...told it can take up to 72 hours to be removed...THEY ARE STILL CALLING!!  "This is a public service announcement...You can be debt free..blah blah blah"...And then there's the home security system call and now lose weight in a week call!  I have filed complaints on donotcall.gov every day for a month.  You'd think someone would do something!~!!!

Some debt consolidation.  If you call the number back, it does say press 1 to remove from future calls, but who knows if that's a lie or not.

I've been getting many calls from a 406 area code. Sounds like a similar tactic, may even be the same telemarketing scammers. Since I never answered the 406 calls, maybe they moved on to the 701 area code to try me that way. They are only annoying once or twice, after that I program the number to a silent ring so it never bothers me. They can call their bloody heads (or autodialers) off and it still won't make me answer, because I don't even know they are calling.

was an automated call from "google 411 service directory"... I did NOT press 1 to accept or 2 to decline... I just hung up... sounds like they use this number to scam a lot of people.  SO SICK of getting telemarketers calls to my office... 40-50 a week.....

Don' know how the complaints to FCC worked for you?  Have been making complaints daily, 3 or 4 times a day for two months, calls continue, just different numbers each time.

Unwanted call

They identlify as Debt Relief services.  These calls have stopped on my cell after numberous complaints to FCC.  Still calling my work.  Can't put my work number on the do not call list.  How can I stop these?
