I don't pick up on these undisclosed calls, but this number has called several times and hangs up when my machine comes on.

I've been receiving calls from this phone number, sometimes 2-3 times a day. When I answer the call, the caller hangs up. It helps to know that others have been receiving hang-up calls from this same phone number.

Received call April 10, 2007.  Caller ID said North Dakota.  Only answered because I initially thought it said South Dakota.  Caller claimed to be raising money for Republican Party, but it was very suspicious since he wanted a donation to be made by giving a credit card number over the phone.  Didn't provide it.  Told the caller to send a letter.

this is the web page that has the phone numbers for the fund-raising company itself - both corporate and regional call centers.  I called them direct, and the person I spoke with assured me I would not be called again.  If I am, I'm going to start calling THEM randomly and hanging up; and I told them so!

this is the FCC webpage that has your rights, and explains 'abandoned calls'.  To have 'out of area' on the caller id is illegal.  If all of us filed complaints with the FCC something might get done.  Maybe call your senator or representative too?

By the way, when I called the number back, it did have a message that said if I left my name and phone number, it would take me off their list in 48-72 hours.  We'll see if it works . . .

I have been getting this call for quite a while -- at least a few weeks; maybe months.  Finally the caller spoke to me, and asked for my husband (by first name only).  When I asked to take a message, she said she'd call back later, and hung up.  So I googled the number and found this -- glad I'm not alone, but I'm totally frustrated by this -- it's a TOTAL waste of all our times!

Some gal called tonight and I answered it on the first ring. Caller ID showed Fargo, ND so I answered it. She asked for my wife and I said she wasn't available at this time then she hung up without any further words. I Googled it and found this

Just about the time my caller ID comes on to tell me the number that is calling and I answer the phone, it hangs up.  I called the number back and it is a polical fund raising group.

The keep calling and calling. Sometimes 4 times a day. I am never able to answer as the phone rings just twice before they hang up.
