I picked up and it hung up, I missed 2 more calls from it, and btw, they are calling my cell phone which eats up my anytime minutes. No voice mails. I looked up the number and it said it belongs to a cell phone as well from Minot, North Dakota. I called back with the intention of finding out what's going on, and it went straight to a recording thanking me for calling back and if I would like to be placed on a DO NOT CALL LIST press 1, and that it may take up to 72 hrs for it to take effect. Didn't get to find out what it was all about, which is good because if I talked to a person I would have gone off. We'll see how real this do not call list is.

I get this call about every other day.  The one time someone did answer they said something about a trip.  I told them I am not interest and to take me off their list. They continue to call every other day with no one answering.  I have previously called the number back and could not get a call to go through.  today tried again and had the same response as micheal A.

No one there when I picked up the phone.

received a call at work from these people, asked to be taken off their calling list and was told "that is not my job and you will continue to receive calls:"(in a very bad tone).  I asked to speak with a manager, John Tolend(spelling?),I asked for his companies contact information and he would not give it to me.

I just registered a complaint at the Do Not Call Registry: https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx.  Everyone should do this to help get the calls stopped.

Same as above.  Didn't leave a message but could hear talking in the background.  Caller ID just says Customer Service.

Got a call at 8 pm last evening from this number. Guy said he was with Four Star Getaways. I told him I was on every do not call list I can find but he gave me some smart a** answer and wanted to argue. Just another pain who doesn't go by the do not call rules.

I just got a call from them.  On the caller ID it says, "Cust Service".  They called my house a few minutes before 9 p.m.  I think that is way too late for any telemarker to be calling!  When I answered, there was silence.  I said a quick, "Hello." and more silence, then a hang up.  When I tried to call it back, immediately I got that sound like a number has been disconnected, but then it said that all circuits were busy.  I HATE phone calls like this, no real person to talk to to tell not to call back and then when you call the number back no one will answer it, it just has some stupid machine lying about them being busy, knowing they aren't!

I get at least 5 calls a day from 701-509-8553, the heading on the caller id is important message . However they never leave a message when the answer machine come on.

I don't even know why I picked up since caller ID showed North Dakota and I don't know ANYONE in North Dakota.  I answered, no one spoke but I could hear that someone was on the line so I screamed into the phone and heard a click.

Called saying something about a vacation getaway.  I told her I was on the federal do not call list and she was violating federal law.  She said "actually I'm not".  I told her she was and i would be reporting the call.  Then I hung up.  Caller ID Name just said "Customer Service"

Get a call from this number every stinking day!  I finally answered.  They tried to tell me something about a vacation.  Before they could get another word in, I told them I'm not interested, take me off your list and don't call again, then promptly hung up.  Hope this does the trick.  If not I have the dates noted and I may try the thing were you sue them.,

I've been getting so many calls like this lately that I rarely answer my phone anymore. My digital phone service allows me to block calls, hopefully I won't get the calls anymore.

(1) Report them to the DoNotCall Registry  https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx.  I just did.  Then (2) email your Congressman/woman and tell them the number of telemarketing calls has gotten totally out of hand the past year.  It's time they took action!  You can find contact information for your representative here: https://writerep.house.gov/writerep/welcome.shtml

called me too and no one was there when I answered, dosn't sound like a very good "boiler room"

Same as the rest of you, call came in at 7:21; tried to offer a vacation plan; informed caller that we were on a do not call list; the caller was very rude saying, well, you didn't add your number to our list; I told them it was a federal do not call list...he hung up.

I get this same call.  No one there.  I too have called the number back and gone through the push #1 routine to opt out of being called again.......I still get the calls!  They are very annoying. I am on the gov't no call list.  Still get calls.

Put your cell number on the Government Do Not Call List.

this number won't stop calling! Half the times they hang up when I answer. The other half it sound like a chain smoking old woman saying she's calling from florida to give me a vacation. We are on the do not call list, and I have told them several times we're not interested and to stop calling... But they don't.

got this call today; spoke with someone named nicole who congratulated me on winning an 8 day/ 7 night trip to fla. before she got her second wind, I politely told her I wasn't interested and asked her to remove my number from her company's list; she proceeded to berate me and become very obstinate over the next several minutes, daring me to hang up. I basically turned the tables on her verbally (without being obscene or abusive) until she could take no more and hung up but not before she cursed me...like many others here, I found out this number originates from somewhere in ND

Told me they were doing a promotion through VISA to get good word of mouth about vacation destinations. Gave me a whole spiel about a discounted vacation, with a cruise to the Bahamas, an Orlando hotel, at a too-good-to-be-true price, then asked to "verify" my address (using a four-year old address) and the first four digits of "my" credit card. The FIRST four digits of most VISA cards are the same, so there is no value in "verifying" them. I just laughed and hung up at that point.

I guess there's a room full of people in North Dakota trying to harvest credit card numbers.

I got another call from 701-509-8557 tell me I had just won a trip?  Then asking how old I was.
I get these type calls on a weekly basis. I again tell them to take my name off the call list they have. then I am hung up on. i call back to hear a message of no such number.

How do these stupid little worms get away with this all the time?

same call for a free vacation.  they have called about 6 times in the last 2 days leaving no voice mail.  if you call the number back, it will tell you if you are not interested in the promotions, press 1 to be added to the do not call list.... hopefully this works, because its annoying.

4 Star Getaway called with this number. I'm on the Florida and Federal Do Not Call list. I've filed a complaint with both.  There is a company by this name in Florida but I don't know if it the same one.

I asked to not be called again. I'll see how that request works.
