Received call from this number today on a business line. When my husband answered they hung up.

I got a call with a recording stating that they wanted to give small business owners a grant between $100,000-1.5 million and were confused because we qualified yet they hadn't heard back from us. They asked me to stay on the line so I could answer a few questions and they could get the paperwork completed and let us know how much they wanted to 'give us'. Long story short, the phone rang about 7 times and then hung up. I tried to call back and the call could not be completed. Sure...its a marketing scam and there is no way to be put on the no call list...these people are getting very creative.

I got the same call as cindy. stating we qualified for a grant and they were waiting to finish the paperwork in order to finish the process. If I wanted to continue I needed to press 1. so i did just to see what the hell they're talking about. So it rings like it's going to transfer me but then it just hangs up.  I tried calling the number back but it comes up as a non working number. Probably is some sort of telemarking scam but I sure hope it didn't accidientally lock me into something since I did press 1. Idiot I'll never do that again.

have gotten this call three times in the last 30 minutes on my business line!  haven't answered- have caller id and don't answer if don't recognize # or if out of area.

I get a call on my cell phone from this number every 2-3 days.  I have not answered it, as I did not recognize the area code.   I have caller ID. Got it again, right now, thought I would check it out on the internet.  Very interesting, glad I did not answer it.

Answered the call, dead air on the line.

Git this call today, 12.11.07. Pressed 1 as they requested. Man said "hello" and I said "yes, you called me?" and he hung up. Weird.

Calls my place of business, sits there for about 3 seconds and hangs up!  Disruptive to our CUSTOMER SERVICE, which the owner of this number clearly knows nothing about.  To the FCC, take their phone away from them!!  When you get a lot of tickets, they take your license from you.  When you commit a lot of crimes, they lock you up.  What they are doing is the same as harrassment, so why don't you do something about it?

If you try calling them back, the number is out of service, isn't that interesting ?

Phone rings and no one is on the other line. Within the last 5 minutes I received 3 calls from this number. I have to answer the phone everytime it rings because it is my job. But this is getting annoying, and frankly a waste of my time.

Just received a call to my cell from this number.  Missed call, no message.  Had just been on the phone with a friend in the same area code who is hiding out from her husband (restraining order)and waiting for a court appearance.  Not sure if there's any connection.  Tracing phone numbers that she calls?  This might be spy type equipment.

we continually get hang up calls from this number. can we block them or prosecute?

called place of busines...daily. When we don't answer- no message. When it is answered- nobody on the other end, just dead air.

Got a call from this number,  advertising colon cleansing solutions.  Apparently you take this turkey-baster like device with a saline solution and you can guess the rest.

I get this call twice a week

Calls my Biz, I answer and it's an automated system. I'm getting about 10 of these a week, it's crap I'm sick of it.

This number will call and hang up on our (small business land line) answering machine. Have had many from them! It's getting to where I don't even pick any unknowns up unless they talk...

Got a hang up from this number at my business! Is there any known agency that we can report this number?? I have a lot of numbers to report. I know the federal government started one, but it's usless.

HAD THE SAME CALL YESTERDAY. STATING THEY WERE GOVERNNENT FUNDING AND I HAD BEEN GIVEN 100K IN GOV LOANS. TRIED TO CALL BACK, NOT A WORKING NUMBER.
