This number belongs to a telemarketing company advertising free "texting"

Who the f*** is this that keeps calling. We said that we had subscribed to the do not call list.  I am with a government agency and I WANT THIS RESOLVED ASAP.

this number calls like clockwork at 7pm every night. we dont accept calls from numbers we dont recognize so i dont know who is on the other end as i have not called this one back. thanx for the info here, i will not bother the small businessman by calling them back, lol, how annoying, huh? my majikjack will block the number for me, so im goin that round. thanx again everyone.

I keep getting calls from this number. They say hello and hang up. When I called it back, it was disconnected. Wtf!?!

These people called my husband today while I was at work!  My husband is a brain injury survivor with permanent higher executive function deficits.  He has been instructed to not answer the phone unless he knows who it is, however he did answer it.  They asked for him, but he told them he wasn't here.  They called back tonight and I answered.  I told him that I was his wife and asked if there was a message I could take ... he said yeah tell him John called and hung up.  I was planning to tell him that my husband is a traumatic brain injury survivor could not make any decisions, however they hung up so fast I couldn't tell them.  I did not call the number back because of what has already been said about calling the number back.

Got an annoying call..  Stop calling!

Have been getting hang-up calls asking for someone who does not have my telephone ##!  This has been going on all week.  Very unnerving.  The other posts are a relief.  Thought it was seriously prank callers.

CALLED FROM THIS NUMBER DECEMBER 2012.   A REAL HUMAN ON THE LINE ASKING FOR ME BY NAME.  CLAIMED I HAD BOUGHT HEALTH CARE PRODUCTS IN THE LAST 36 MONTHS.   NEGATIVE.  ON NATIONAL DNC LIST AND WHEN ADVISED HE HUNG UP.

Got a call tonight from this number.  Asked for my mom.  When I told him her age (93) & that she was sleeping he responded quite RUDELY, "I don't know what her age has to do with it, but the fact that she''s sleeping, we'll try back another time.  He hung up before I could reply & ask to have my number removed.  This is upsetting, because my husband and I are primary caregivers to someone who no longer can do for themselves.  It is not her phone number it's mine but some how her name (not my last name) is out there. Caller ID came up Mediafriends Inc.  I was so mad that I tried to call them back (a few times) but all it does is ring & ring & ring........

I've had several calls from this number, but the call always drops as soon as I answer it.  Since they're calling my cell number, I can block them.  The do not call list has evidently gone the way of our health care coverage.  No doubt there's some obscure add-on in that 3,000 or so page Obamacare crap that none of our wonderful politicians bothered to read before they shoved it down our throats that frees all registered numbers.

You're actually creating the problem yourself if you have to jump on every caller who dials you, sometimes the scam is played off people who call back. They count on it, that way your call gets logged. Notice how there weren't as many calls like this when there was no paranoid call back option? Yeah it's because the scams are preying on those scared to death that they might get a wrong number.

Got a call from this number to my cell phone and the male person said he was selling a product called "Quality Blend".  When I told the person that I wasn't interested he was persistent and knew where I was located. When I asked him to repeat himself he hung the phone up.

Just received a call from this number on my cell phone.  I never give out my cell phone #.  I believe this was the 1st time they've called. I let it go to voicemail and although they didn't leave a message I could hear people talking in the background.

Me too!  I perfomed a reverse phone lookup ad discovered the name of the company is Mediafriends.  There is little information out there and no number to be removed from the list.  If you find a way, please post it.

I received calls from this number twice this morning ........ at 1am in the morning!  Now I'm getting them every 2 hours!  When I answer the phone, no one says anything!  How do I stop them from calling me?

Someone from this number  702-200-2898 called me 4 times today and one time yesterday. They need to stop calling!! What do I do to make them stop calling? Can I fill out a form somewhere of the numbers that need to take me off the call list??

received calls from this number 3 times on 9 Oct 2012.  Tried to call the number back but got a 'this number is not in service' msg.

just got a call the guy started by asking me if I had ever heard of HGH, I hung up on him. Work cell phone.

Received a call this morning from this #. It's roughly the 4th time I've gotten a call from this # within about 2 months.  I know for a fact that I signed up AGAIN on the National Do Not Call Registry with all of my #'s. I haven't applied for credit anywhere in years so I have no idea how they've gotten my number.  

Seems like a joke when someone who calls you, get's no answer, but doesn't leave a voice mail....

I just received a call to my business cell from this number 702-200-2898. They asked for me and I asked who was calling. Once I realized that it was not one of my contacts, I just pretended to be my assistant and said I wasn't available. They said "Oh, you're not even the business owner. Whatever." After that, they hung up. I found this blog and decided to note what happened for those others who get the same call. If you are getting repeated calls on cell phones, you can always download a "call blocker" app and specifically put this number in (or any others you wish to ignore) and the phone won't even ring. It will still, however, tell you when they call. This way you have a record.

Good luck everyone. I really wish these telemarketing companies would go away and just start using the internet and TV to sell their stuff. If we want it, we'll buy it, but stop bothering me at work!

Received 4 calls today from this number.  I answered the 4th call and the guy on the phone said he was from a nutrition company.  I told him I was at work and asked if it was important.  He said no and that he would call back later and hung up right away.  I didn't have a chance to tell him to remove me from their list.  Incredibly annoying!!

Got a call from someone who intriduced himself as Jim selling some kind of "blend" and then said "oh...you don't need any of this s***" and hung up.

i told them the 1st time that i hadnt worked since the end of march due to an accident and that I wasnt interested. I believe once you are on the list they call you repeatedly. I have ignored all calls from this number since the 1st one. I would say they call at least twice a day.
