Same as the others here, I have a car listed on Craigslist. Also received email asking question that was clearly answered in original ad.

I REALLY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO USE THE LIVE EMAIL TRIED MANY TIMES BUT NO JOY MISSED OUT BUYING CARS , TRUCKS BECAUSE OF MY IGNORENCE

Before I called them back I checked out this blog - and thank God I did!  Thanks everyone - I too have a car for sale on Craiglist.  I figured I'd get some crank calls - but not organized crime...

All sounds to familiar. I Have my Bike on Kijiji and after doing some research on a potential buyer and his Paypal account it turned out to be a scam.

Chris Peterson was the scam name. wanted to buy my Bike and have it sent to the UK. I received a Paypal confirmation from a fraud paypal address. If this sounds familiar don't wast your time or be had by these fools!

Same CraigsList connection here. Listed a "vehicle" and now keep getting calls from 702-220-6125. Also getting bogus e-mails.  I have ignored them all but they're starting to really chap my @$$. CraigsList, You guys really should step up to the plate and help do something about it. I will not post again with your site.

Ive received many calls from this number 702.220.6125 on my CHEVROLET Tahoe on Craigslist... The first time I answered it was a guy asking if my FORD Tahoe was for sale still and then asked a question, which the aswer was clearly stated in the vehilce description. Anyway... I just said im not interested once he started a sales pitch to "market" my vehilce for me. He then said "well good luck then" very rudely and hung up. Now the calls come in and I refuse to aswer them.

Im not sure what site is worse, CraigsList or Cars.Com. equally bad I suppose.

Exactly the same thing happened to me in Calgary, after 2 days of posting my car in kijiji!

Yup, posted a vehicle on autotrader.ca and these a**-clowns are trolling looking for victims.

Yeah, put my bike on Cycle Trader, get calls from this number. They hang up because they want you to call back at your expense, not theirs.

same as everyone on here I have listed a car for sale in a local free site, Kijiji only 2 days ago.
First call I got was a person with lots of boiler room background noise, she was aking many questions about selling her or her company the car and it was only going to cost me 500 on my credit card. Ah No thanks then she got all upset that I would not sell it to her and started saying how stupid i am after that said my words to her and hung up. 2nd call was an automated and if i truly wanted to seel stay on the line. Hung up 3 rd call same as above.
I have googled the number and company from Nevada, Hmmmm I have this car listed for sale in Ontario CANADA, hope to find out ( not likly ) who's the rep up in the cold north.

It shows up "ONE STOP MOTORS" on my caller ID (cell). They never leave a message and if I call back it's a busy or D/C tone. I also have a vehicle posted for sale on Craigslist.

I got a call from these guys.  They just hung up.  I have a truck for sale on Craig's List...go figure.

Got a call from this number, they didn't leave a message.  Looks like from the other posts that it is probably because of a vehicle I have for sale on Craigslist and this is some scammer in Nevada.

This is a scam. I called the number back and received the following from the other end. "Hello this is David, you have a vehicle for sale. Could you tell me a little bit about it please?

I put my motorcycle on sale on eBay a couple weeks ago. It's since sold and gone but I'm still getting calls from this number. It's coming from Clark County in Nevada. Scam city.

I keep getting calls from this number and they hang up. Seeing this web sight I an sure it is a sales call.
I do have a car listed for sale....I feel like this may be a scam in progress!!!
