Telemarketer. Wants to sell your car for you. Scam.

received a call from this number....did computer check and don't know this person at all

They get your name/phone info from Craigslist if you've EVER tried selling a car there. I get about one call a week from them even though I've deleted the ad for the car I sold on CL a month ago.

This is an Auto buyer. If you have had a Craigs List, Angies List, etc... their calling to offer you a short-term loan NOT TO BUY IT!!! They are offering you the loan with your vehicle/Service as collateral!

I also received a call from this number after hours and with no message left. Considering I know nobody in Nevada and that others are reporting his number calling them fir no apparent reason, my guess is it's a telemarketer.

Merchant Circle lists the number as belonging to Market Stefania.  The message said something about a car so it's probably the same guy(s) Kurt spoke with.  I don't have a car listed on the web.  Why would anyone pay these guys to sell a car when you can list it on CL for free or reputable sites for a nominal fee?

missed call, called them back.  He asked if I was responding to a missed call.  I said I was, he then asked about the make and the model of a car I am selling on the web.  Don't have anything listed on the web. I asked what he was referring to, he then quickly moved to get off the phone.  Some scam I'm sure.  Probably recorded my voice and used it in some new scam or some crap. Great
