Posted an ad in Criagslist, now this guy won't stop calling me. Luckily my phone supports directing people to voicemail without alerting me. I have added this and bunch of other numbers this moron calls from. These guys are rip offs please beware

Mindless Motors - not really, just a scam company trying to RIP YOU OFF with a BS "listing aid" - they harvest your info off of other vehicle listing sites and then spam call you trying to "UPGRADE" your listing with some really expensive - and totally useless -  extra cost advertisement.

If you bite on it, it will cost you over $495 -  don't get RIPPED OFF.  They will just post your add on a bunch of FREE sites with no cost to them for your $495 fee.  You can do the same thing and save the $495 fee.

Yep, spoke to Cory today. He is very rude. I also talked with Jim and Brian. Got my name and number from craigslist, then got mad when I would not agree. Told me not to call and waste his time! Of all the things to say, they called me! They don't appear to be BBB members, but they are a Nevada Corporation. Robert Wilder is listed at the registered agent. They had 279 complaints in the last 3 years according to the BBB. They lure the unsuspecting consumer in, then use high pressure sales tactics to sell you a $500 advertisement to help sell your car. Mr. Wilder actually posted that he thought this was the way of the future for auto sales........... Yep, all the dealerships and all the private sellers are going to raise the bar on advertising and pay $500 to advertise each car over the internet. Anytime you get a cold call from Nevada, hang up.

Hi.. I placed an ad for my Jeep for sale "only" on craigslist, the very next day the calls started for that Las Vegas NV # 702-247-7741 - They called to list my Jeep with them somewhere else.  Hope this helps.  RK

for you guys that weren't selling a vehicle - but got a call anyway.  They troll the Craigslist ads and a lot of the local ads don't have area codes on some of the phone numbers, so these morons just start calling all of the area codes for that region until they get the right warm body to talk to.

I'm just saying....they're scum.

This is a scam.    They troll the internet looking for auto ads from FSBO sellers and then they call them and use a high pressure sales pitch telling them that they can get them more money and sell their vehicle faster by simply paying them $495 - it's not a real business - and you can do what they can and only spend $50.  

Save your money.

Do not let them have access to your debit/credit card info or your checking account.  You will be MORE than sorry!!!

They are also not abiding by the Do Not Call List - be sure that if you are on the DNC list that you file a complaint with the FTC website.


If you ARE selling a vehicle, be sure to state in your ad that you do NOT accept calls from companies that want to "assist in the marketing" of your vehicle.

missed call, when I called it back a recording picked up saying "I am calling about your vehicle listed for sale.  If it's still available..." I hung up since I'm not selling anything.

A very rude named Cory who supposedly works for One Stop Motors and pulls numbers off of craigslist.  Charges a $499 fee to help sell your vehicle.  When told no, still calls spuratically just to bother you.

it was an automated message from Autotrader to sell me an upgraded listing for my car.
