someone picked up, sounded like a little kid

I'll be glad after today and all these robot calls stop. I pick them up, say nothing and wait for them or the recording to go dead. Ties up their line for a while anyway. Why do they have to call so many times a day?? Really turns me off. What makes politicians exempt from "Do not call"?????

This caller is ORGANIZATION FOR AMERICA, obviously a political call.    However,  I got this call for "Charles" a few days ago.   Today, they called 2x.   I had blocked their number.    Doubt after tomorrow they will ever call again!   Hooray, now go out and VOTE

Ive been getting the same phone call except that they hang up whenever i answer. Ive been getting it a couple of times every day, but yet no aswer.

This number just called, didn't leave a message.
Caller ID identified them as ORG FOR AMERICA.  Probably political.

If you have caller ID take the number and keep it by your phone if it shows don't answer it the computer will  on there end will adjust when to call after 10 times of calling there system will drop the calling pattern and stop calling you just watch out for calling your cell phone do the same thing and block the caller you can do the blocking on your house phone if you have that function. other wise don't answer the call. I hope this helps you all

Please, how do I stop these harassing calls?

Sick to death of this number calling several times a day, especially late! This has been going on for months! I am disabled and it is painful to keep getting up to answer when no one is there! How do I stop this harassment????????????

yesterday, I received this phone call asking for "charles"  I told them it was a wrong number.   They called again in the evening, same woman, so I told her stop calling me, there is no "Charles"     Today I got another phone call from 1800-000=0000 asking for "Charles"  this was a political survey about whether I voted. I spoke to a very nice young man and he told me that a Charles Sorrells has given out this number as his, which it isn't .  Tried calling back this number, no such number 290-5343.   Sure would like to know who Charles is as I have this number 15 years!

Spoof software allows them to enter any number they want into their auto-dialer.  That's what shows up on your phone.

This person calls me everyday and hangs up!

I think it's an Obama supporter. Once in a while they will ask for me when I answer. Usually hang up though. When I call back, the recording says "it's not a working number", but when I text them back saying I'm voting for Romney they call right back.

I got the same thing. She asks for me and when I say who's asking she hangs up on me.
I would reallllllly love to know how to track down these users and have some action brought against them.
If you are calling for political surveys then ask what you called to ask. How can you be supporting a cause if you are making an a** out of yourself and them while doing it?

Why after i renewed my number on the DO NOT CALL LIST 3 days ago I get bombarded with BS calls.  Does it like FLAG my number and say OK DNC so its OK to call now ?  Left no message.. They called while I was on the phone

Unfortunately, the national "Do Not Call List" makes two exemptions from the list - political organizations and non-profit charities.
