They were doing a survey on who was home, how many tvs, type of service,etc. Very convincing

Just got a call from this number. No one there........silence then hang up. So frickin tired of this crap. Not the first time they've called and when I call back I get the same thing...."this number is not in use" ??? REALLY. When are our phone providers going to deal with this s***?

We have received 5 or 6 calls from this number.  Never leaves a message, when we answer, there is no one there.  Very annoying, not sure if anyone else is still getting calls from this number?

Getting constant faxes on one of our work phone lines.  IWhen I phoned Telus they tell me its some telemarketing company & we can't put that number on the DNCL LIST as we are a company. Boooo!

Got a call from this number 780-449-2088 today. I answered and no one was there.  I called the number back and it was not in service.??????

They have been calling me for a year telling me there is something wrong with my computer, to which I usually respond with " I have no computer d****ead" and he hangs up.

i ask them what they are wearing and how sexy they sound...they hang up on me. Waiting for the next call so I can pick up the conversation where it left off ;)

I got a second call from this number. The first time they called was about Nov.8/11 they had to leave a message and all they did was call my name a couple of times. They called again today Nov. 12/11 and didn't say anything this time. I don't know these people or what they even want if anything. Someone needs to stop people like this.

This number has called me 3 times in the last hour, not leaving a message.

Left a bored/bitter voicemail saying, "Hello....", for 2 minutes.

This number 780-449-2088 is a scam, I hope these a-holes get caught by the police, they are trying to steal personal information from your computer.

I was contacted by 780-449-2088 on July 6,7,8,9,26 & 27.  Sometimes several times in one day. Calls started at about 10:00 a.m..  I finally answered on July 27th and was told that I had malicious issues affecting my software.  The woman on the other end of the line said she was calling to assist me with Windows.  She could barely speak English.  I had to ask her to repeat what she was saying.  I even questioned her as to why it was so noisy in the background and she replied "Because it is an office 'Mam. " When I started asking her all sorts of questions (computer related), she was very defensive.  She told me that she was the "middle man" for Micro-Serve.  She also insulted my intelligence by explaining to me what happens to my computer when I am searching things on the Net. (She also told me that "things happen you know in the outer space when you are searching and that is when malicious programs are put on my computer")  I then ask the lady for her name and her phone number and that I would call Micro-Soft directly and then get back to her.  She told me her name was "Shane" and she gave me her phone number as 020-3355-6684.  What a Joke!

Yeah got this call today from a guy saying he was from windows, um wouldn't that be Microsoft?  Any way as I know computers this guy didn't have much clue of the techinal jargon I was throwing at him.  As a result he said bye and hung up.  HAHA dumbass anyway definatly a scam!  Oh and when you try to call back you get the line is no longer in use.

Call from 780-449-2088. There was live person on the line. It was a phone scam.
Caller: Paul Watson and then Martin. Calling on behalf of Online PC Care - yea right.

I was just received a phone call from these guys offering free help with my computer. I do not need help with my computer and I knew this was a scam.

they were calling windows users to help them with their computers
once I "qualified," I was passed over to Martin the supervisor
then he started to instruct me on how to fix the computer - at that point I got cold feet about stringing him along and hung up.

they were calling from India
they self Identified the company as Online PC Care
asked me to run eventvwr
call display showed 780 449 2088

hope this helps in shutting these guys down

Well....a while back, we had to have our number changed because these pricks wouldn't stop calling. In fact, they were calling in the middle of the night. Unfortunately, they've started up again. I think it's HBC (Zellers)

this number is now being used by an automated telemarketing scheme about credit card stuff

I am getting regular calls from 780-449-2088. They never leave a message and never seem to call when I am home.

We keep getting calls from this numer but when we answer there's no one there. If we ignore the call they never leave a message. How do you stop these annoying calls?

I received a call from this number, answered it with no response and an eventual disconnect.  I called it back to see who was calling. It rang 5 or 6 times and then a message kicked in saying the lines were all busy.

Next time you get these calls get as much info as you can WITHOUT giving your info & file a complaint with DNCL.

I have received about 4 calls from these people in the last 4 months.  The 1st one I got sucked into & gave him personal info I dearly regretted.  I never got the cell phone he promised; & on subsequent phone calls I told them I'd given them all the info they needed from me & wasn't giving any more.  I got their names, employee numbers, & talked to the supervisor.  Nobody would own up to anything; they just told me they verify the info & if there is some mistake it doesn't go through.  Yeah right.  Today I asked to talk to the manager; he tried to get info from me too.  He told me to call back for ? some reason (they are so hard to understand!!) & now the number is busy!  They were from CellNet Wireless, claiming to be service providers for Bell & Solo.  Are they really?  I say it sounds pretty fishy.

I get this number calling but not leaving a message. I'm sick of the calls when I signed up to not receive these types... now it seems to be getting worse... USA don't allow teleemarketers.. why does Canada???

I have recieved numerous calls from this number and no one is ever on the other line.  If in fact it is a Bell phone provider; I have asked them to never call me again.  I am not interested in Bell.  I got 5 calls in a matter of 2 hours.  This is crazy and I want it to stop!

These jerks call at 7am and when I said don't call, the guy called back 3 more times, finally when my husband answered the jerk hung up on him and didn't try his line.

call from 780-449-2088  guy with fairly thick african(?) accent asked for me by name and asked about windows on my computer and wether it was slow.  I asked who are you?  He said some name.  I said why would you be calling me - I never bought my computer from you - my son sells them and that is where I got it.  I said REMOVE my name and number from your list - DO NOT call me again.  I have had calls from this number in the past.  Warning - NEVER give out ANY of your information.  If you do give someone your birthdate and driver's license, then you are helping them make phony ID's with legitimate details - your info - someone else's picture!
