JUST GOT A CALL, DID NOT PICK UP NO MESSAGE. BOULDER CITY ON CALLER ID.

I continually get calls from this company Air Duct Service 291-2991 Boulder City NV. When I answer they say they are Air Duct Services and if I get their special today then they hang up not finishing. when I call the number says it is not a good number. I am on the do not call list so I prefer not to get these sales calls continually. How do you stop this harassment?

702-291-2991 called us again today.  It was a pre-recorded call from a female named "Sam" trying to sell us duct cleaning services.  They have called us before.  We reported the call on the Do Not Call website.  Sure wish they would stop calling, they will not get any of our information and we are not interested in anything they are selling.  Thank goodness for sites like this one where we can all help each other out.  Thanks to all of you for posting your experiences with this and other telephone sales calls.

Received a call today about having my air ducts cleaned from "Air Duct Cleaning Company".   I just hung up.   Phone number was 702-291-2991 as with the rest of you.

Speaking of crooks and liars, you failed to mention the biggest hoodwinking hacks out there: the republican party and the libertarian party! Fox (Flop News) dishes out the cocky doo-doo 24/7 being shills to these  destructive political parties. Let's consider the more than likely possibility of the republican and libertarian party aiding and abetting telemarketers. The Obama Administration has been trying to resolve these robo calls, but President Obama has been up against too much opposition with the republicans in congress. Could it be another one of Bush's conspiracies still active?

This phone number looks odd to begin with: "291-2991".

I got a call from (702) 706-5236 yesterday about 3pm  with a Caller ID that just said "Las Vegas, NV."  My phone had a "repeat" icon next to that number, meaning they called me before.  But I don't have that on my physical paper log.  There was no message.

These two numbers may be related, and one of them is a spoofed number.  This (702) 291-2991 only called once, according to my Caller ID log.  It was back in Oct 2012.  I bet it's the same scammer, though I don't know why the (702) 291-2991 didn't show up when they called me again yesterday, with a different number shown.  The tech should exist to not allow spoofed calls to even ring through.  With all the other "smart" tech out there, Caller ID can so easily be manipulated.

I'm in CA, why come from NV to clean my carpet?  I didn't pick up, and there was no message.  Legit companies would leave one, and have a valid Caller ID and phone number displayed.

I'm getting a lot of calls like this, and I decided to turn my ringer off.  Only way to get peace.  I've read online how hard it is to stop these calls, esp. if they are "spoofing" their ID.  Don't have the energy to deal with it.  They sometimes call at 9pm, and even call on Sunday mornings at 8am.

Anyone important will leave a message.  There's no law saying you have to answer the phone.

And still they call -- this time at 3:38 pm today.  No message left.  Caller ID said "out of area".  Well so was I -- I was at WORK!  (Even so, I still wouldn't answer the call even if I was at home!)

We have been receiving calls from this number for monthssss ..  It is a recorded message from  "Diane" about "great" carpet cleaning deal,  "do you ned your carpet cleaned"   once I press 1 to be transferred to  a live person, they hang up ..........

It is AFTER we called the "do not call registry" that we started getting all the calls.  I think they must be selling numbers!

Did not leave a message on Answering Machine. I called back, and reached a "No Longer in Service" recording.

Yet another hang up call from these morons, this time at 5:32 pm today.  Adding it to the list for my FCC and FTC complaints.

Simple, I just booked an appointment.  When they showed up, i got the driver's name and filed a small claims lawsuit against the company- paid me $500.00 - the amount authorized by law!

Sometimes it helps if you file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau  in the city where the co's headquarters is located. (See above post for info.)  If it's a legitimate company, they will respond.  If not, it's a waste of time.  You don't really know until you try.

When I looked this up, I expected to find it to still be another one of phone number used by "Card Services".  This is a nationwide, sophisticated scam.

So, I read from these posts it is carpet cleaning.  They called me yesterday around 12:30 p.m., and hung up on my machine.  The ID said "Unknown Name."

I'm in Los Angeles, California, like "Cambry" above, and this is a Neveda area code.  I once got a call from "Sunset Exterminators" not even in the LA county vicinity.  I didn't answer.  I never answer calls I don't recognize.  I agree that the Do Not Call list is hard to enforce.  I'd have to answer these calls, and I have better things to do with my time.  I don't trust anyone violating the Do Not Call list cause I think they would lie about who they are and why they called.

Seems since they created the Do Not Call list, I've gotten even MORE calls than before.
