I met fraudster  Roger Brown a divorcee on okcupid, he had 3 phone numbers eventually. Hes an IT professional, German. Doing a contract in Washington from his home New York. Hes 49 years old. First asking for $1000 then $7000. He needs to buy an  IT part from TingTing Chen in Beijing, China. Romance Scam with email broger114@yahoo.com He falls in love fast, quotes bible and says hes not lying.

I just got that number from okcupid as well. Pretty bad when people have to scam others that are either looking to date or a partner.

Said was in Wyoming. Profile is gone now. An hour after getting the message. Profile was 19 yo from Northern Ireland...

Same thing, got a odd message from someone with an okay cupid user name off "breonnajacks", which also states the account is no longer active.

Yup I just got a message from a person on OKCupid asking me to text them at (702) 297 7402... Does anyone know what the scam is?

I just received a message from an OK Cupid profile telling me to text this number, (702) 297 7402. Their profile is totally blank.

(702) 297-7402 is the number someone gave me from okcupid.  I'm guessing a phone sex scam.

702 is a Nevada area code.  I did look that up before I found this site.  My OkCupid lady friend owedcribdame is from Billings MT. and she writes...

Yep.  I got a message on OKCupid that she was going to split soon, and I was supposed to text message 7022977402 to contact her.  I got the message on July 8th, also.  Didn't check my messages until the 11th though.  I'm in Cortland NY, so yeah, she gets around. I can't text, or I'd do it just to find out what kind of scam it is.  Anyone reverse lookup the number to see where it originates?
