Couldn't understand

same thing.  it says that this is not a sales call or collector, (so they are lying) then it gives me the name of a friend and says that she gave me as a reference.  I just hung up.  And why does it always have to call your cell phone anyways?

I RECEIVED THE SAME MESSAGE. THEY SAID THEY WERE CALLING IN REFERENCE TO SOMEONE THAT HAD LISTED ME AS A REFERENCE AND IT WAS IMPORTANT FOR ME TO CALL THEM BACK. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE FINED FOR LYING TO INNOCENT PEOPLE AND WASTING MY CELL PHONE MINUTES.

I just got a call from them, but they didnt leave me a message, and I call them back is said 6 minutes wait so I hang up, because they called my cell phone.

I assume it is a fake company as I haven't been able to find the name of the company listed anywhere in Las Vegas, NV. The telephone number is a local number. The company says they have you listed as a reference for someone they want to hire for a job, but is actually a collection agency trying to collect money from the person they say they want to hire. In the voice mail message they leave, they say that you were written in as a reference for the person they are trying to find. The collection agency is fraudulently presenting themselves as a potential employer and harassing innocent people. I may be filing a police report soon.
