See my comments from 6/8/14 on page 4.  I received a call from 215-383-3378 from STR Research in Philadelphia.  They were requesting info for television and newspaper clients.  How can this be considered a charity or non-profit company.  They also wanted to speak to the YOUNGEST member of the family over 18.  Very interesting.

Please see my comments dated 6/8/14 on page 4.      The same research company called me from Philadelphia (215-383-3378) but were calling for television and newspapers.  There is no way these companies can be considered charity or non-profit companies.  They requested to speak to the "Youngest" member of the household over 18!!  Very interesting.

Just got another call from the 215 exchange.  I had eleven questions ready to ask him including: 1) his name 2) state and company calling from,  3) how did you get my -unlisted- number  4) what company are you calling for  5)  where is this company located,  6) why am I being called,  7) what type of info looking for,  8)  what are you going to do with this info,  9)  why am I being called now,  10) how many others are being called,  11)  how in-depth are your questions going to be?????????  If you want to hear someone get so flustered that he gave me his name (Jim Davis) three times-----it was too funny for words.  He said he was doing an opinion poll for newspapers/TV stations.  He wanted to speak to the youngest person at home over 18.  When I kept asking him my questions, he told my to stop interrupting him.  I never gave him any info ..  but after my last question I said "Thank you for taking my survey", then very politely said good bye and hung up.  Try it.  It will make you smile for the rest of the day.

This number is from Las Vegas Nevada.  They are also calling from number 215-383-3378 which is in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.  If you don't know who you are talking to, I wouldn't give them any type of information, specially since they may be representing companies based in other counties other than the USA!!!!!!

Number continues to call at all hours....just called @ 7:27PM...Leaves no VM...Ridiculous

just got a call asking for an adult male in the household.  My wife said there were no adult males in the hh so they wouldn't call back.  Whole thing sounds suspicious.  BTW - our home is "protected!"

they called me at 930pm which was late to ask me to do a survey.  I hung up  but come on....

Got a call from this number at 11:31 pm Ohio time. Idiots. I did not answer.

Calls every day 2 to 5 times everyday 7 days a wk.  I never answer.  Usually it rings 2 or 3 times and hangs up before transferred to voice mail which requires 6 rings.  So its purely harassment hang up call.  It does no good to deal with a robo dialer fishing numbers for live ones who answer the phone.    Clearly the phone system is being abused and is another example of people who pay for their phones also subsidizing the idiots in these types of scum bag businesses.  It would be to simple to hope that the thick as a bricks answering these calls would simply stop and not pick it up.  For some reason they just don't understand their is no human dialing their number to bug them but all cheap technology automatic robo dialers.

This number called me couple of times and every time I picked up I've been disconnected.

This guy called me from this number, and he asked if i was driving or doing anything that required my full attention. I said yes, even though I wasn't, and he said he'd call back. Sure enough a couple days later he called twice more

Just today I've received calls from this number at 10:31am, 10:49am, 11:19am, 11:50am, 12:05pm, 12:20pm, 12:57pm, 1:11pm, 1:22pm, 1:46pm, & 2:55pm, whew! They NEVER leave a message. They ARE persistent however, annoying. If I don't recognize a number, I don't answer and I add it to my reject list on my phone. Hopefully the calls will eventually cease.

I am getting call from this number fairly regular,,I dont answer,,cause it is my cell number they are calling,,I am on a do not call list,,

This number has called me continuously and is interfering with my day to day life. I need it to be blocked.

Someone from this number tried to call me, and when I tried to call back, the message says that the phone has been disconnected and is no longer working.

I have recieved numerous calls from this number. They will not stop calling.

they said they were conducting a survey on health care for 55+ for the Canadian Health.

Just received a call from this number. She said they were from Rice University or something and were conducting a survey or the people in the Houston area. She said the survey would be about important public issues and asked if I was driving or doing anything else that was requiring my immediate attention. I told her no and that I really wasn't interested in doing a survey and she just said "I can see this isn't a good time, I can give you a call on another day." Very suspicious to me. I won't answer next time.

This is the fifth time. called left no message. Is from Nevada...

Received a call while I was driving.  I answered because the only people in Las Vegas that would have my Cell Number are Family Members.  It was a Sunday Night and They claimed to be calling from Rice University.  I know she could tell that I was in my car and talking to her through the speakers because she asked if I was driving or doing anything unsafe that would require my attention.  I said YES, I'm on the Freeway.  She wished me a good night and hung up.  I have now blocked them.

They tried to reach me on my cell phone 4-5 times. I picked up at the last call, mentioned something about research.  
I just blocked this # on my I phone.
Done deal !!!

They have called me every night for the past week or so. Have not answered. Will not answer.

This # is from Las Vegas & I live in Missouri. They called Wed. Jan. 8th @ 8:43pm CST on my Cell Phone. I get calls all the time on my landline # (keeping notebook of all calls). My boyfriend anwsered it as I was screaming NO don't answer. He hung up on them & said they were taking a survey. I said Great now they'll be calling me all the time along w/other unknown #'s & I have to pay for them myself. All outgoing & all incoming calls. I use this phone only to call long-distance & I block my # before I call. Only a few people have my cell #. I now believe it has  to be the 'random robol-dial' until they get a working #. Or Tracfone sold my #. Which I have no doubt that they wouldn't. SO, SO AGGRAVATING! I won't answer the calls either because I would definitely cuss the MF'ers off big time & then I'd propablly get in trouble. Ha! Ha!

They have 3-4 times a day for the past 3 days. I am annoyed with these calls. I have small children and they are calling right when they go to sleep... Seriously frustrated. I WILL NOT answer phone calls from numbers I do not know, even with Caller ID

Call hang up ten minutes ago. Answering machine came on and I listened and heard a slight sigh and then it was silent; no person said a word; they hung up.  Obviously a scam using a rotating phone number.
