I used to work with this company occasionaly. It is a legitimate opinion poll company, even though they are not very professional. The owner tries to extract as much cheap labor as possible with the least resources possible, and as a result, the poverty of people working there was quite depressing. It is pretty good thing to have to make few dollars on the side, but later on, it ceased to be worth my time. There are many part-time jobs available that pay much more. This is one of the many political poll companies that might call you. If you do not want to be bothered by their calls, just ask them to put you on 'do not call list'. That is pretty much the only thing you can do, even though I had people telling me that they has been asking for it for weeks and they are still getting calls. The surveyor who is calling you has an option to put your name on the 'do not call list' but otherwise has not control over the system.

I used to work for this company in Las Vegas. There were several good people who worked there that honestly tried to get the job of FINISHING surveys no matter how many people hung up on them done, like I did. But, there are also what seems like just straight up crack-heads that work there who just wastes everyone's time, and calls people to just hang up because they do not have the nerve to make cold calls. If these people get a little insistent towards the end, it is because the survey has to be COMPLETELY filled out for them to stay at work another hour even if it is the first hour of the day. If they do not keep their quota of maybe 1 or 2 surveys an hour, they are cut for the day and will have to try again the next. Also, people are paid by the hours they successfully complete surveys. It is up to you whether you start the survey, but for the sake of saving the caller the hassle of starting over with someone else, please finish the entire survey, and make sure you have the time to complete it before you begin. Some of them are like 20 mins long. You can imagine how hard it can be to get a stranger to listen to you for 20 mins let alone get through an 8 hour day unscathed.

the do not call list applies to telemarketers, not survey takers.

Legitimate market opinion research is allowed under the do not call law. As are charitable contribution calls amd any call from a business you have a relation ship with. For instance Bank of America can call you if for instance you have a BOA credit card. There may be one or two other exceptions to the do not call list but these are the ones i remember off the top of my head. There are legitimate calls you can receive even if you are on the do not call list which is regulating the telemarketing industry. Sorry about that if you only want phone calls from friends only but this is the real world. Any legitimate market opinion research company will not call after 9pm local time in my opinion but I do not know if this is actually a law. You do not get many completed surveys if people are mad at you over the time you call. Computer programs do make foul up occasionally and this unfortunate if you are doing legitimate surveys and some goes off on you for calling at 9:30pm for instance.. This particular research company sounds very fishy from everything I read even though one person did write that they did take a legitimate survey with them. Something does not sound right though if the company continued to call after getting a completed survey.

called twice, first no answer and second, answered but hang up right away. Jill has the president's email address, everybody should email him and get him annoyed.

I have been receiving calls from this number on my cell phone and home phone no one answers except today someone asked for my husband and said their name was "Jackie", thinking it was a coworker of my husband i told him they were on the phone and he said hello and they hung up, I have been trying to call this number back and it just rings or it is busy and if i answer there is usually no one on the other end. This is getting very annoying!

That is so weird I got a call at 9:20 tonight Pacific time... Who in the world calls at that time and it said McGuire Research and when I went to answer it they hung up...

The phone rang a few times. Caller ID came up 702-430-6711. No name. Before I could answer they hung up. I've gotten to the point where I won't answer any calls from area code 702. Feel sorry for people who actually live in Las Vegas and aren't bottom feeders.

This number is calling me at 6:30 am and at 11:40 pm..I am in eastern time zone. I have no idea what it is about.

they called @ 9:06pm tonight. Caller ID says "LAS VEGAS". They left a message but no one says anything. They just left it on the hook and took up all my minutes on my machine...jerks!

I verified with phone company this morning (9/8/10) this phone number is registered with a company called McGuire Research Services - phone company also gave me the registered address of 5818 Spring Mountain Road, Las Vegas, NV 89146, for those who wish to make their complaint in person as they don't answer phones so likely it's the only way to make complaint.

Called at 8:50 pm CDT then hung up called ID Nevada.

I got this call at 9:10pm and I live in Vegas!  It just said "Nevada Call" as if it was a cell phone call.  Don't these people realize they're not supposed to call after 9pm, let alone to people who are on the "Do not call list"?  I ran to answer it and no one was on the line and they didn't leave a message.
It's an outrage to be calling this late at night!  I have a good mind to go down there and give them a piece of my mind!  But I know it won't do any good. These kinds of companies don't care, or they would follow the laws in the first place. Unbelievable!

This is a market research firm who conducts surveys for clients.  This particular number called to give me a political survey for our town's upcoming local election.

Since I got so annoyed with the several time daily phone calls I picked up the phone and took their survey.

However, even though I took this survey, I continue to get phone calls asking me to take the same survey.

Same problem with other Nevada numbers, I keep getting calls from Nevada numbers to my cell (which is on the no-call list)  no messages left.  There is no answer when I call back 702-430-6711, and 6 minutes later this number was disconnected 702-517-5864.  Truly annoying.

Got a call tonight. Got a call earlier today. I didn't pick up either time. On caller ID it said OPINION POLL. To avoid annoying rings from this place after I go to bed, I will unplug my phone. I am on the DoNotCall.gov list.

Received three calls in the last three hours.  Weird noises in the background.  Never an answer.  This has to stop.  Time to place a call to one of my buddies down in Vegas.  He works security for a casino there and hates bull**** companies like this.  I post how it turns out.

Got a call from them last night - they left voicemail.  I couldn't understand anything but I heard my first and last name clearly.  Then a clearer voice said "Get me a pencil" and then the line clicks on and of for a minute and goes dead.  WTF?
