Female called and left a voice mail, said her name was Nicole Glover, said i was a named respondent in a civil case in which i needed to appear.  She left this as a return number and said to refer to a case number.  When she couldn't get me, she called a friend at his work number asking for me. When he told her that I don't work there, she demanded that he transfer her to the personnel office.  When he hung up on her, she continued to call back to back repeatedly for 30 minutes straight.

DRG AND ASSOCIATES HARASSES  ME EVERYDAY ABOUT A BILL, WHICH THEY CLAIM THE ONLY WAY TO PAY THE BILL IS WITH A DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD  THEY WILL NOT EXCEPT ANY OTHER TYPE OF PAYMENT

GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER (702-479-5240) AT MY WORK. GUY SAID HIS NAME WAS MARK SPENCER AND HE WAS CALLING FROM DRG & ASSOCIATES. SAID I WAS NAMED IN A CIVIL SUIT FOR FRAUD, ETC ETC. FROM A LOAN SUPPOSEDLY 4-5 YRS AGO. HE THEN DECIDED TO GET HUFFY & PUFFY WHEN I TOLD HIM I AM AT WORK I NEED A # TO CALL YOU BACK. HE KEPT TALKING AND TALKING, GETTING MORE AND MORE ANGRY WHEN I KEPT TELLING HIM I AM AT WORK, I CANNOT TALK, AND THEN HE GAVE THIS # TO CALL 1-800-880-5506. HE THEN SAID "I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE & WHERE YOU WORK", AND YOU NEED TO CALL THIS NUMBER BACK TODAY BEFORE 5 OR WE WILL TAKE FURTHER ACTION AND THE ATTORNEY IS JOHN SHAPIRO. FIRST OF ALL, THEY PROBABLY DONT THINKS CALLS ARE RECORDED AT SOME JOBS & THAT WAS CLEARLY A !!!THREAT!!! DUMBA**!!! SO I DECIDED TO RESEARCH THE PHONE #'S HE GAVE AND SEEN OTHERS WERE GETTING THE SAME THING DONE TO THEM! WHO IN THE H**L ARE THESE LOWLIFES! COME TO FIND OUT, THERE IS NO JOHN SHAPIRO, NO DRG & ASSOCIATES, AND THE BUSINESS I FOUND ONLINE THAT IS NAMED THAT, IS A CONSTRUCTION COMPANY. IF THEY KNEW WHERE I LIVED, THEY OBVIOUSLY HAVE MY ADDRESS, SO THEN WHY HAVE I NOT RECEIVED  ANY LETTERS FROM THEM STATING THE "SO-CALLED" CIVIL SUIT/CHARGES, ETC. ETC. GET A LIFE YOU SCUMBAGS!

Kept on getting calls on my cell phone looking for a Tracy.  When I told them that my name isn't Tracy they started yelling at me.  These people are stupid ignorant people who have been profiled on 20/20 as low life debt collectors.  What about us innocent people who are harrassed for no reason? I'm reporting them!

I received a phone call from this number at work.  I was very upset about that.    Said that I had a civil claims docket for fraudulent activities.  They could not actually give me the information that I was asking for.  Did not even know who the company was.    

I think that they are crooks.

I received calls from this number at work leving messages that they have a civil case they are filing against me.  They called my daughter and told her that I had check fraud and that they are filing it in court.  I have never had any check fraud or bad checks so I gooled this number and found so many others with the same thing happening.  Is there anything we can do about it?

Call showed up as "out of area." She  had only my first initial and last name and asked if I knew _____.
I would not give any info and asked for a call back number. She finally said it was the "pre-legal dept. of DRG & A**. and that somebody was about to file suit for a bad check. ____ has not had a checking account in over 5 years. I finally hung up on her after she shouted "I don't know what all the hostility is about, why won't you just tell me who you are!?" And SHE called me.
5 minutes later got another call from same number. She gave a call back number. I told her bad check are a crime and prosecuted thru the DA. Suggested she tell her client to check with DA. All bad checks plus penalty were paid off. Asked her not to call this number again.
I think it is just a collection agency.

I got a call from this number and they left a vm, 1st they asked for Katie Holmes on, sorry not me, then said I needed to call back regarding some case against me....said they are from some office and I need council. he was hard to understand...sounded like he had a mouth full of something...

Got a phone call from this number. The caller left no voice message.

Caller from this number left messages on my work and personal cell phone.  No idea how they got either number.  The caller claimed that I was named as the sole respondent in an internet fraud case.  She said if I did not call her today or have my attorney call today they would be filing a "case" and she named the county in which I am a resident.  What BS!!!!!  It is a violation of the FDCPA to threaten or even insinuate prosecution for a crime based on nonpayment of a debt.  I knew within the first three seconds of this message that it was from an scam collection agency.  It is also a violation of FDCPA to fail to state that the call is in reference to the collection of a debt.  Let them sue me, maybe I will sue them!  I am reporting them to the FTC and to my state attorney general.

A month ago, this fool, Jennifer contacted and left a voice mail about they are suing me for check fraud.  A roommate from several years ago also got the call where it scared him enough to contact me and make sure I was okay.  The voice mail and this conversation break every rule for consumers on EARTH!

Multiple phone calls by a pretty crappy VRU stating I should call back went on for several weeks.  

This past week I get a letter from this stupid place for something I do not know anything about.  

Their name and address match NOTHING in directory assistance/Yellow Pages or White Pages.  The 1-800 number they want you to call back is so obviously not legit.  Their fax number is from Washington DC, but they say they are in Las Vegas.  Another idiotic feature in this letter is that they say I have 7 days to rectify it...  then at the bottom they say I have 30 days.  

All that is enough???  Oh no, then they state that payments can be made to their Bank of America account and give their account number.  That it???  No, the letter came in a window style envelope with a North Dakota stamp... but, with a Rochester, NY postmark.  

With so many fraud indicators listed, I have contacted the Attorney General for both Nevada and my home state.  Plus, I looked up the name of the company/Jennifer... and their Chief Operating Officer...  NONE are part of the Nevada Bar Association.  I am also turning the information over to Bank of America.

May this scum ROT IN HELL!

Our economy also does not need more uneducated fools that type in all caps. And obviously these people using that phone number are not collecting legitimate debts that people actually owe, but rather are trolling to scam random people.

I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY SO MANY PEOPLE GET ON HERE AND COMPLAIN ABOUT THEIR DEBTS..IF U OWE MONEY, JUST BE RESPONSIBLE AND TAKE CARE OF IT. IF WE, AS CONSUMERS TOOK CARE OF OUR RESPONSIBILITIES, MAYBE THESE AGENCIES WOULD GO OUT OF BUSINESS AND IF WE FIND OURSELVES IN A BAD POSITION IN THE BEGINNING IT WOULDNT HAVE TO GET THIS FAR. THEN SUDDENLY, EVERYONE KNOWS AN ATTORNEY, HAS AN ATTORNEY, ETC BUT WE CANT AFFORD A SIMPLE PAYMENT PLAN?????? HHHHMMMM MAKES ME WONDER IF MAYBE AS THE CONSUMER WE ARE THE SCAMMERS. this company called and left a voicemail on my bosses voicemail taking about a civil suit filed in court they claim I took out an advance on 12/1/2009 but then they said I took out an advance on 9/18/2009 they are trying to get 1830.00 out of me.  I asked them to email me the info and this is what they sent.  this letter even though it doesn?t show any advance info, has been doctored and badly at that. I googled the phone number and there are all these negative comments about this company.  I called them back and disputed the so-called debit.   i sent it to my parents attorney and she said  Its just a word document. anyone could have typed that up. the letter was ever in different fonts and it had my name and address at the top but it was addressed to a Rusty Wallace with the same so called case number that they claim is assigned to me. HMMMMMM!!!!!!!! they claim they are a law firm but my parents attorney, who is also my best friend, she has never heard of them.  if anyone out there uses lexus nexus do a law firm search and see if they come up.  i bet they don't.

I received a call from the same person very similar to this one.

Got a call today from a guy name Mark Spencer saying that I'm name in a civil law suit and that I need to get this settled by today and he can save me money. I asked for documents pertaining to this, he couldn't provide me with that information but he only faxed me a paper that has my name on it and how much is owed, in which that's not what I was requesting. I need the information of whom is suing me in which he failed to provide that information. How can I handle this with these people.

Got a call today from someone name Jennifer from DRG and Associates. Said I was named in a civil law suit and please call back at 702-479-5240 ext 1111.

Caller claimed to be a civil claims processor, threatning to suspend my license. Want to collect $1600.00 dollars from me, then decreased to $1200.00, then decreased to $900.00. She couldn't even provide me with the company's name that I supposedly owe this money too!!!! Then called to harrass my mom to get through to me and told my mom they could suspend her license....WTH!!!!

Caller claimedto be calling pertaining to a court date in Maricopa county (AZ). Threatened to suspend my wife's license, etc. Turned out to be a bill collector
