They txt me again today, saying HAPPY DECEMBER 1

Who or what is this?

I'm a Las Vegas local and got the following txt msg from this Las Vegas number today:

I have no clue who this is... Kinda weird, cyz my cell is only known by friends and family.

Same thing only mine was for $10,000.. what is this? how did they get my number

Same here.  What the hell is it?

I got the exact message except mine was $10,000.  Started getting these texts around the same time as I started getting calls from a debt relief agency...  Except I have no debt!

Do you owe $10,000+ to the IRS? If you are employed we can REDUCE BACK TAXES by over 70%.

Got a text message saying:

Do you owe $15,000+ to the IRS or STATE? Our gov't approved program can REDUCE back taxes by over 60%. Reply "IRS" to see if you qualify! (optout,reply:out)

I have received 2 messages re IRS one from 612-412-3857 and one from 347-401-0178 - I want my cell # blocked.

I keep getting this text "Do You Owe.." it's on my Net10 phone and burns up minutes to open. I can't put it on a reject list and have to keep deleting it.
There should be a law against telemarketers/corporations/and so on, sending texts and messages to cell phones. It's bad enough they call they call a house phone and you have to hang up every time!

FOR THE THOUSANDETH TIME:  I'M NOT INTERESTED NOR WILL I EVER BE!!!!!!!

Received a text on my cell phone at around 7:30 pm CA time.  The number that shows up on my cell phone is 702-506-8502.
You can do this:
1) https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/
2) Lawyers love these cases, and you can make money too.
BTW, I am NOT a lawyer; just want to share the info.
Some companies don't know what they are dealing with, i.e., the laws of the United States of America that make this great country.  Fines can be up to 5 or 6 digits plus imprisonment.
If you can do find a way to lock them up and make money, please let all of us know so we can follow your path.
