I spoke to a guy named Steven.  Says he works for Extended Auto Warranty inc or something like that.  I ofcourse am registered on the national do not call registry and was trying to get some information about their company.  I asked where they were located and he said Florida.  So I asked where in Florida and he answered me "hangupville" and hung up on me.

Called and didn't leave voice mail.

Car warranty call. I asked what car he was talking about and he fumbled. I told him i was recording the call (which i wasn't) and asked his information, and company information and he just hung up.

Left a message on answering machinr about extending my car warranty. I am filing a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry and encourage everyone else who gets a call from this number to do the same.

they called at almost 9 p.m. CST.   We are on a no-call list.  Left no voice mail.

Just got a call from these people, talked to woman who called and she she was from some warrenty place and asked ME to verify my vehicle make and model...I laughed and said NO you tell me..your the one who called and she hung up!

Called trying to get me to extend a car warrantee.  Didn't say which company.  I lied and told them I had a Nissan.  She said, oh, here is your record and the vin starts with J. Finally I said I'm interested and asked for a number where I can call them back.  The rookie telemarketer had to put her manager on the phone.  He said they don't give that out, but said the information is only given out to customers and I wouldn't be a customer until I gave them my credit card info.  I told him that I was on the DNC list and he started rambling that I had to renew every year.  Told him I was on it and I was going to the state's attorney to file a complaint and their business could be sued in every state between Illinois and Florida inclusive.  He said I don't know what you are talking about and hung up.

Just received a call from this number trying to sell me an extended warranty by telling my warranty had run out. I think they are fishing for credit card identy information so don't give them anything. We already had an extended warranty on the car so I new this was a hoax

They called me and asked if i wanted a warranty on my car. I told them i drive a 91 blazer and i don't need a warranty. I couldn't believe that they kept trying to sell me a warranty on my truck that has over 300.000 miles on it... I told them i wasn't interested and hung up. They have called many times after that. I never answer it and they never leave a message!

Caller said nothing after 30 sec. they hung up.

I wish there was some way to stop these calls...but they have multiple phone numbers (not just one).  I have asked to be removed from their calling list and tried using their "remove me from your calling list" automated prompt.  It never works...they just keep calling.  They have called up to 5 times during one day.  Of course if you question the caller (what is your company name, etc.) they simply hang up.  If you try calling back any of the numbers you get messages stating 1.  they are not accepting incoming calls,  they only respond to incoming calls from companies.  There has to be something that can be done...this is the worst case of haressment I have ever had...

I did not answer.  They left no message.
Called back number - they answered warranty service center, I asked what company they worked for and they hung up.  I called them cack 4 more times and asked for the company name and they hung up every time.  Maybe we should continually call them.

I called the # back it will have a recording saying that they have reached this # in error if you what your # remove press 1. That's the recording I got .

I just let it go to my voice mail. They don't bother to leave a message. I do that to all long distance calls, and local calls that I recognize as a sales promo. It doesn't stop the calls, but it avoids a lot of hassling over something that isn't worth the time or trouble to screw around with.

what i dont understand is how can these companies collections, telemarketers can use numbers to decive the public. my daughter nows this couble who do collections work and they use a number that shows on caller ID's as a church group. now how is that legal!!!!!! the showed be all shot!!!!!!

The worst one is allied interest. they told me i had anonomys payments to a company and they wanted me to pay them. why didnt company call me? they never contacted me about that? its just scammers trying to steal money.

I have received that call since a month ago, every single day, anyway... I never answer the phone.... What can I do to block them?

They called again this morning, about my expired car warranty. I waited till someone live came on line to ask to be removed from their list and they just hung up on me. @$$-holes!

Everyone, thanks for the heads up.  I check here first before going to my VOIP provider site, entering my account, and adding the offending number to my "Block Inbound Caller" list.  All they will hear in the future is a busy signal, and my phone will not even ring. It takes 60 seconds to block them.

It is too bad that 800notes.com does not offer a list by state, by week for download, then I could bulk block a whole bunch of 'em in one visit.

I got a call from them today.  They were telling something about my car warranty.  I ased "steven" (that's what he called himself) what car is he talking about but all he could say is "the one that you drive".  I said if my warranty is about to expire he must know what car that warranty is on.  Then I started asking where he was calling from but the only answer he gave me, and I quote "hangupsville".  He then of course hung up.

Do not know who caller is. I am on do not call list. Caller ID only says ASOC.
