There are thousands of us "victims" who get dozens to hundreds of unsolicited calls from these pond scum companies.  They constantly change company names, use new numbers frequently, use personnel and numbers from outside the US (making law enforcement nearly impossible) and do their best to make it difficult for law enforcement agencies to protect us.

It would be a shame if the following happened to these companies:  

50 people make calls to one of these companies from pay phones
Calls occur for 8 hours - conservatively, 2 calls per minute
Each call from a pay phone costs the company 50-cents
Cost to the company for one day would be $24,000
Cost to the company if this happened for one month is well over a half million bucks

I'm certainly not advocating this type of behavior as it would be illegal.  It would remain illegal if 200, 300, or 1,000 people did the same thing.  The poor folks at American Credit Counselors Inc (877-969-3328) would have a hard time staying in business with all those huge phone bills coming in each month.  If they change their phone numbers, some crazy victims would likely know about from wonderful forums like this.  But again, I certainly wouldn't advocate or condone any illegal activity - that just wouldn't be right.  I wish nothing but success to my good friends at:

I got a call this afternoon from this # and hit "1" (as "0" doesn't seem to work anymore on these telemarketing calls) and it indicated it was transferring me to an operator.  Then a guy came on and said "customer service may I help you" and I responded, "yes, I would like you to......" that's all I got out before he hung up on me.  VERY RUDE and obviously not willing to remove me from the calling list.  I have opted out and my # is listed, but you can not call this # back and get a person to file a complaint.

These people are still using a nevada number too. 702-520-1105, they are probably just using lots of numbers and having them changed frequently.

They are now using 603-214-3689. Same Prerecorded guy voice, when you press the number you will get a terse lady who will ask you for information about the car and the vin number etc. My first words were who are you, and after she asked me again and I didn't answer the way she wanted she hung up.

Well, I called the Las Vegas police regarding these people and they routed me to the Nevada Attorney Gernal's office.  So now its in their hands.  Hopefully they are on the run now.  I know I am willing to testify agianst them and hopefully others are too.  We recorded a few of their calls.  The lady I spoke to at the Attorney General's office said that what these people do to old peole is the same as terrorism and I agree.  I hope they throw the book at these devils!

they keep harassing my 85 year old grandmother and scaring her.  they tell her there is some sort of trouble with her car and her finances.  She has no car!  these people are monsters who prey on old people.  can anyone do anything about this?

I thought deregulation was supposed to eliminate these non-stop harassing, rude, dead-cold computer calls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Said that they were calling about an extended warranty on my vehicle. My car went out of warranty 17 years ago.  I have hit the other key before, I think it was a 2 and it does no good.  I'm sick of this scam caller, and I am on the DO NOT CALL list already.

Ihave customer complainig to me that this number is calling selling extended wty for cars this is a Scam call do not send them any money

I am in Fort Laudederdale and literally got a cal like 6 min ago.  It happens alot and drives me crazy,

Just got a call from 702-520-1266... I asked hello 3 times and they hung up. This could be a screening company that generates numbers for telemarketing companies... if you awnser "hello" (with no business name) its marked as a residential number and they hang up, if you awnser with a business name they take you off the list and hang up.

Got a call from 702-520-1268  Tuscany Industries made a call back got a voice mail that said "When done press the # key"  no other info.  No message was left when they called.

Reading this forum it like the use different name with the same phone #. Sure would like to find more info on the company name.   Did a google search and came up with nothing.

Have been seeing this number on my caller id for several days now, just called but I did not answer because I did not recognize the company name, Tuscany Industries.  Did a google search of the number and got this website, so I will be sure to not answer the next time they call.

I received a call at approx. 6:55 PM in WA State.  I let it go thru to find out the company name; what I got was something like Vogel Notification. The bottom line is no one ever answered.  What kinda a***oles are these now?  I am also getting similar (and increasing) calls at work - in Seattle, WA.  

So what is report thing -- another BS thing?  Don't we have enough sick wackos already?

My name is Lois Fornash; and I am giving you this information for my neighbor Rose Chism, who has received a call yesterday, Monday, October 29th,2007 @ 3:02 PM from 702-520-1266.
She said "it sounded like a pre-recorded message", with a man speaking first and then a lady talking last.  She could not understand what they were saying, except it being something about her car.  She is 92-years of age; and it got her extremely upset (not knowing what it was all about).

Then...today, Tuesday, October 30th,2007, she got 2 more phone calls from a different number...702-520-1268.
But she is all upset and worried about these calls.

Said that they were calling about an extended warranty on my vehicle. My car went out of warranty 16 years ago.
