Does anyone know who this is?

I had the exact situation! Ad was in the Corpus Christi Caller Times ... Director of Fashion Shows. The number was 813-814-3879. Same names: Vince Wallace and Gail Henley. Said the Company was based in England had been in business since1964 and they were setting up in Corpus Christi TX. $1250.00 -$1500.00 weekly. I had the 3 phone calls...everything that everyone else has reported except I was to fly to San Francisco. He gave me a choice of 4 days to fly out. I don't know who or how to thank the people who posted these experiences but I am soooo thankful that you did!  I hope that my post might be helpful to the next person.

This man placed an ad in the Sun Sentinal looking for a Fashion Director for a women's manufacturing company. The job entailed putting together fashion shows and dinners all over the country. You would travel often but the main office would be in Fort Lauderdale right by the airport. He said his name was Vincent Wallace and could not provide me a company website because they were a manufacturing company and did not sell to the public. He said I was selected for an interview and I would need to fly out to San Deigo and return home the same day. Once arriving in San Deigo I would meet a lady named Gail Henley, the regional vice president. Here is the catch: He gave me 2 options, first I could have them pay for half my ticket and the other half I would have to pay ahead of time by sending the money to Western Union or I can pay for my ticket in full through a travel agency or online. In both cases he promised that upon arriving in San Deigo, Gail would great me at the gate and have a check in hand for all my expenses. He was going to mail me a confirmation of my interview, historical and financial background on the company, and pay information to my house. The only company information he gave me was the name Adecco (which I later looked up to be a worldwide staffing agency.) I had 3 telephone conversations with him and each time he called me it was always from an unknown number. However, he said once I decided on how I wanted to pay for my ticket I could call him back at 813-814-3879. I thought this all sounded weird but once I googled this phone number my suspicions were confirmed. Thank you everyone for their posts. This man needs to be stopped!!

Yeah, he's at it again I'm keeping tabs on this guy, now the voice mail says it's the HR dept. He was really stupid trying to SCAM an experienced security officer, shame on him HA!HA

tried to scam out of money wanted to have me pay half the ticket up front westen union

Got a a call from this number by a man who calls himself Dave Helmes. He wanted me to send $182.00 for half an airline ticket to Washington for an interview,  a SECURITY SUPERVISOR position.
He ran an add in the Arkansas Democrat Gazett for a security supervisor position. After a couple of calls he said I had been selected for an interview. Once he asked for money I knew somthing diddnt sound right. I googled the number and glad I did!!!! (Never send anyone money)

He called me today and wanted me to send $178 to pay for half of my plane ticket to go to Maine to meet a woman named Cathy Helms for an interview for a flight attendant position for Castle International Airlines. He wants me to western union the money to him in orlando florida he said his name is dave melrose but he wants the money sent to a John Henley. I dont have the money to do this.....thank god for Google!!

At it yet again!  Ad posted on HotJobs which was picked up on Indeed.com.....BEWARE

Wow thought this was possibly a real opportunity glad I googled this number.I left a message with my name and number and I am glad I know to stop there.THANKS TO THE PEOPLE FOR PUTTING THIS ON THE NET SO I WOULD NOT BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF.i APPRECIATE IT!!!I am glad I google everything.

same thing happened to me today asked for half the money for a plane ticket and said that the interview was in seattle washington with a lady name sandi dawson.

this guy is trying to get people to fall for his scam in cleveland, OH also. Please don't even call this number.

i called that number today and he said that they do not hire students i made a phone call to a friend who is a flight attendant and she ran the number and found out this is a scam. flight attendant be ware

Ran ad in Richmond-Times Dispatch, Richmond, VA.  Looking for food and beverage servers for private jet company.  After 4 calls with preliminary questions, he called back and said I had ben selected.  Wanted me to Western Union money to a Paul Evans in Orlando, FL in the amount of $243.00 to pay for half of my flight for interview in San Diego, Ca.  That is when the flag went up!!!  Said lady named Tammy Ellis would meet me at airport in CA. to give me cash back that I had sent.  Sure enough, looked on internet and this guy is using different phone #'s and names.
Pray he will get caught.  So many unemployed and desperate to do anything to get a job.  I did not have the money to spend, so that was a blessing in disguise!
Do not be taken by anyone who ask for money just to get an intervie!  Is cost NOTHING to interview for a REAL job.
