I recieved a call, gave me three options 1-to extended my warranty, 2-taken off the list, 3-speak to a rep.  I pressed 2 and it immeidately hung up. Hopefully that wasn't the wrong answer.

Calls every couple of weeks, either no one responds when I answer or they do not leave a message when I don't answer.

I called the number back and a machine came on and said that if I wish not to get any more calls and to be placed on their do not call list press one...I did now we'll see if they keep calling.

I got the same number calling me too, now, I've called the number and dialed "1" to be removed, but they keep calling me... Is Harassment! I want to press charges... I got this phone for private purposes, how in the God's Green Earth did they get it? I have an idea though, facebook come to think of it, those applications like "make new friends" Don't Join and post your cell numbers... I just thought about it.

Please stop them. I hate them

I've gotten this call twice. The first time just a few days ago, and I pressed 9 to be removed from the list. Well, then I got another call today, proving there's no list to be removed from, not by pressing 9 at least. So I pressed 1 to talk to someone, and that did not work either.

Seriously stupid people who are trying to perform this scam.

The call and ask to speak to to a manager.  I ask who is calling, they won't give a name and say they will call back later.  I tell them not to call back, they call right back.  It's really annoying.  Phone company's should block this king of solicitation and scams.

I just got a call from this number and it definetly freaked me out. Just ignore and they will go away. Every once in a while the numbers will change but same scam guys.

I JUST got this call, it was a machine saying what all the rest of you had mentioned. I pressed 3 to speak to a rep because I thought this may have to do with my old car I sold. Someone answered and I said I don't even know what this is about or what car you're talking about and he hung up. I called back and got that same message recording that repeats they are sorry they reached me in error etc.... I thought i was in trouble only to find out it's some stupid scam. How can people be so low with scams like this! Whatever!

I just recieved a call from this number. I never pick up if it's a number I don't recognize. I assumed it was some sort of telemarketer as it ID'd as "MA FIRST". And, they didn't bother to leave a message. Go figure. I have an unlisted number that isn't given out casually for a reason. So, it irritates me to no end to be bothered by these leaches. I am also on the "no call" list for telemarketers. And yet they persist. After reading other respondents, I realize that I have been contacted by these people in the past, trying to extend my cars warranty.

I receive these calls every few weeks, too. There must be a law against this sort of thing. So annoying.

I got a call from this number yesterday 05/27/2008 at 6 pm mst. The caller answered said his name was David and when I asked him to refrain from calling me, he promptly disconnected.

DO NOT PRESS 1 WHEN IT PROMTS YOU TO TALK TO SOMEONE. THESE PEOPLE TRY TO TELL YOU THAT THERE WAS A WARRANTY ON YOUR CAR. THERE ISNT ONE FROM THEM. THEY ARE TRYING TO SCAM YOU AND GET YOUR MONEY. I'VE DONE RESEARCH ON THIS NUMBER AND FOUND OUT THAT THEY ARE NOT A LIGIT COMPANY. FUNNY.. I OWN MY CAR AND HAVE OWNED IT FREE AND CLEAR FOR 5 YEARS NOW. THERE IS NO WARRANTY ON MY CAR. THERE NEVER WAS AND NEVER WILL BE. DONT FALL FOR THE SCAM, ITS JUST SOME MORE TOWEL HEADS WHO GOT INTO THE COUNTRY AND SURPRISE SURPRISE.. THEY ARE TRYING TO SCREW AMERICA.. GEE WHO KNEW.

The call came in last night on my company's cell phone. I only rec'v calls from a certain #, so i knew it had to be a wrong #. Of course, no message was left. Don't get mad, just ignore it, that's why we have that option.

I just got a call from them and then I called them back from a different line. I got this answering machine that says "Thank you for calling. We are sorry we reached your number in error. We only purchase or call business or phone listings. If you would like your number removed from our list press 1." Then when I press 1 the message just continually reapeats...BASTARDS!

I got the same call today, and it's not the first... These telemarketers are pissin me off

i got a call from this number two nights ago.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message but it really bugs when people call out of nowhere, especially businesses trying to make a buck.

I just received a call from this number. If I don't know the number, and they leave no message they receive no call back. Seconds before I received the call a family member whose cell phone last 4 digits are chronologically close to mine received a "hang-up call. I have been bugged by the warranty scavengers. I believe these are parasites that actually receive a few dollars for a good number for the whomever. Once they hear a voice answer the phone they are off to collect their fee. Probably addicts of some sort.

It is a telemarketer from some entended warranty company for automobiles. I dont know how they are getting our numbers...they called me on a newer privately listed cell phone.

I got that number last night, myself.  All I can tell is that it comes from Las Vegas. Dont know anyone out in Vegas, unless somone took a trip and didnt tell me.

Calls on cell phone with no message.

I was talking to a friend that I haven't talked to in a longtime and they called. I didn't feel like being mean to my friend so I just let the other line beep.

Any idea what this could be?

Auto warranty scam called to my cell phone.  Press 2 to speak with someone - just listened for a few seconds and the automated dialer hung up.  What a nuisance.
