Called to report that my car factory warrenty was about to expire.

Keeps calling me on my work cell and doesn't leave a message.

Please stop calling

"Message regarding your timeshare."  I don't have one, not to mention they called my work line.  Pressing '0' resulted in a hang up.

Received yet another call from this number this morning.  This is my 5th or 6th call from these people.  I have now made 3 complaints, but of course, nothing has been done.  
The FTC is yet another government agency too incompetent to do anything or too complacent to give a damn.  It's time to go after the FTC since they are HUGE, take millions in tax money from us, and do absolutely nothing!
This government has made it clear they only care when minorities are targeted, not caring a bit about the general public.

If someone would make contact with a person, please find out company name, and get a call back number and post here. It's the only way to nip this, as it will only persist.

Same as above. Neither of our cars are young enough for warranty protection! I hung on for the agent and asked if he could clarify the business relationship I had with his company. He became quite flustered. Since they are not a charity, not a political party and I do not have a relationship, and I am on the do not call list I explained that I would be sending a note to the federal Trade Commission. We should all do this routinely and not just complain on this kind of a forum. This caused some stammering from the young lad at the end of the phone......

We may think that nothing will happen with the FTC - yet another chunk of government, but under the FOI, the next thing to do is to have your l TV station's investigative team ask the FTC for stats on reported phone numbers and actions taken. Us the media to poke at the politicians to get something done!

Recorded message claiming the factory warranty on my car is expiring soon, really funny because my car's factory warranty expired years ago. I hung up before the message finished. Have so far only been called once.

Why can't this scam be shut down?  I get a call a day from these a-holes, with the BS recording trying to scam old or stupid people.  I would vote for McCain or Obama if they would promise to put a bullet in these crooks' heads.

I keep getting a call from this number to my cell phone. I can't stand it. Is there anything that can be done to have them NOT call me? And why wont it let me get through when I call the number back???

This number is constantly calling me, and leaving me voice mails. They are different all the time and I can't put a block on my phone.  The messgae left today was "thank you have a great day."

I get blank calls from 702 520 1408. It only rings once. I haven't bothered to call back, but it's just annoying.

I traced this area code to Las Vegas area. I am in NY.

This is probably the 4th or 5th time I've received a phone call from these fools. This time I pretended as if I actually had a car (because I don't). As soon as they asked for my name I asked what company he represents and all he would say is "Warranty Services Division" and said if I want warranty information I would have to provide him with my information or ask to have my name removed from the list. I told him I already had my name removed from the list 3 times and they keep calling. He repeated my phone number to me and verified it as if he was going to remove it or something. I have a feeling these guys have nothing to do with warranty anything and they are just collecting information.

They just called me.  It was about selling an extended warranty.  But the car can't be older than 1997 and mine is 1991.

Not sure how they got my number, but it might have been thru a business listing I have.

Also, if you call the number, a recording will ask if you want the number removed.

same here.  the operator answering says that my car's warranty is about to expire, but could not tell me what kind of car I drive, so...

i get calls from this number, supposedly from warranty direct auto service, telling me the warranty on my car has expired.  untrue.  i just asked them to remove me from their calling list.

i just get calls from this number n when i try to call back it doesn't go through, i dont have time for this..I am waiting on important calls from graduate schools and i cant stress over thinking it was one of them and im not able to return their call.
