I received a strange call from this number. It was automated and said that this is the second and last time they would try contacting me. That's weird because I have never received such a phone call before.

I press "1" to stay on the line and speak with a representative. When one finally came on the line, he did not sound very professional at all. He didn't address me by my name. All he said was, "so you need more information?" I said, "I already purchased warranty from my dealer." The rep then hung up without saying anything else.

Beware.. sounds like a SCAM to me!

This number comes up everytime I get on line and Comment about the USGOVERMENT  and other NON-POLITICALLY correct things like.. PUPPY MILL RAIDS by the HSUS and ASPCA where our investigations show the ASPCA and HSUS do not INFACT save puppy mill dogs, but they DUMP MOST OF THEM OFF on ALREADY OVER CROWDED HUMANE SOCIETIES/ CITY POUNDS and many of them end up euthanize as a result of these raids...  Did you KNOW THAT when you donated to the HSUS ASPCA or THAT PETA HAS A 90+%% 20 YEAR RUNNING KILL RATE of cats and dogs?   INVESTIGATE BEFORE YOU DONATE          EVERY TIME I CHANGE MY IP ADDRESS THESE STRANGE NUMBERS START COMING UP ALL OVER AGAIN>>>>>>

About a year ago I got the same call the rest of you did. A pre-recorded message saying this was the second notice that my vehicle's warranty was about to expire. I was immediately suspicious because I don't own a vehicle. I tried to tell them that and asked that they stop calling me - which they assured me they would. It never happened. They continue to plague me today. When they called me last week, I asked for their company name and address and the "representative" became very evasive, quickly told me to have a nice day and hung up. I decided to report these unscrupulous bastards to the FTC and FCC, but their phone number on my caller ID was odd: 416 000 8831.

Today when they called, I feigned interest by telling them I had a 1999 Honda Accord LX with 125,000 miles on it. My "personal specialist," David, told me that they were really sticking their necks out extending the warranty on a ten-year-old car, but since I was such a trustworthy gentleman, they were confident that I would not take advantage of them (he was such a nice young man). He had to get approval from his supervisor (probably the rat sitting next to him), but glory be, they were able to extend my warranty (on the fictitious 1999 Honda Accord LX) for ONLY $2,600! And they were kind enough to offer to let me do that in installments of about $800 down and $200 a month for the next two or three years.

This is not an offer to extend the warranty on your vehicle. It is sort of a "vehicular health insurance." A very expensive plan at that  Intelligent people would buy a new car rather than spend that much money on an old one. Furthermore, given their questionable marketing tactics and high pressure sales pitch, I'm very dubious that they pay the claims filed against them. So how do I explain the post made by "Happy Customer" made on January 22, 2009? He/She is a liar. Probably a company executive who posted that to reassure the truly gullible.

I ended my conversation with specialist David by informing him that I had no car - I was just convinced that his company was as legitimate as a carnival game operator. He did seem a bit pissed. He chided me for being stupid enough to waste 18 minutes of my time on giving him bogus information. I calmly explained to him that it wasn't a waste of my time at all. Not only did I find our conversation most entertaining, I was providing a public service as well.

David has no doubt recovered from my insults to his integrity and is no doubt duping someone else by now. What I did will have no lasting effect on his scam. But what if more of us did what I did? what if more of us gave these scum bogus information? I'm not thinking we could shut them down - but we could certainly cut into their profits. I don't know about the rest of you - but I have a new hobby.

I recieved a call from this number also but I did answer and thank god I did.... Here is my story... I was out of factory warranty on my vehicle by 2,000 miles. I was worried about giving out any information but the salesman did offer me a 30 day fully refunded policy. The policy was explained to me in great detail and I was even offered a email copy of the policy. I did receive my email and did decide to keep the policy. Sure enough 45 days into the warranty I had a claim and it was paid for in full. So the point of my story is don't believe everything you read. Extended warranty are valid and do pay for your repairs... Thank you Vehicle Services Inc.

Got a call on my work cell phone from VSI about extending my auto warranty.  Here is the info I got from them:

VSI 1052 So Cloverleaf Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.  Phone: 1-866-925 1783.  Gave them bogus information, like I had a used Lexus RX300.  They really wanted my credit card number for a "down payment" on the warranty. Spoke to three people, one "supervisor".  Played along and acted dumb. Even told them my lexus might have a gas leak, "..because when I drive it to work and back home, zoom, a quarter tank of gas is gone, just like that"  LOL.
They want $3165 to extend the warranty 4 years.  But what they gave up was their phone number, their address and now I'm sharing that with you.  Oh, I spoke with "Chris"  at extension 304.

Automated call to me cell phone. Wants me to extend my auto warrenty (which I do not have). Says this is the 2nd attempt to contact me. I pressed 1 to tell them to put me on their do-not-call list. Waited on hold over a minute then I gave up. I called them back but got the message "This # is out of service".

A follow up to that, if you dial 702-520-1486, you get a message that says "Thanks for calling, we only dial business and personal phones.  If we called you in error and you would like for your number to be removed from our list, please press 1"  I pressed one and it just keeps repeating the message.  Pressing any other key does not work, either.

When you press 1 to speak to a rep they typically hang up when you don't answer scripted questions about "renewing your car warranty" . But when you do get them to talk off the script they hang up as soon as you request to be taken off their list. And when you do talk to a rep who says he will take you off the list...it doesn't happen: you get more calls from them. The last time they called, the rep gave the call to another person (supposedly her supervisor) who was extremely rude- when I requested to be taken off their company's call list, he told me to "chill out and take a Vicodin"- and then hung up.

Their voice message said they are selling "car warranty".

Telephone numbers (702) 520-1487 and (702) 520-1465 keep calling on our cell phone.  We did press "2" and asked to take our number away from their calling list, they are still calling.  These people should deserve to die in flooding in IOWA OR go to hell.

Since our government would not do anything to these telemarketers.  I guess that we just have to tolerate the bull s***.

I agree.  When the customer rep answered the line, he asked me if I want to renew my warranty for my vehicle.  I asked him which vehicle he was referring too and he told me which vehicles do you have.  I said you tell me since you called.  What a joke.  But it was fun to confuse him
