Didn't ans. the call. they didn't leave a message, and I didn't return the call

There was a time when you could complaint to the telephone companies that issued/owned the phone #'s of these scammer & the company (At&T/Pac Bell/etc) would call these people & tell them to stop or lose their phone#, I guess the phone companies don't do this anymore since they are making some much money from the scammers.
Also be aware that a lot of scams are coming out of India & just to think we give them millions of dollars in aid & a lot of our outsourcing business (try calling Chase Bank or Capital One Or Ebay & see who answers nine times out of ten). When question why this foreign person answers they reply that they are a worldwide company & my reply was 'if you are worldwide, why is that I always get India & not the USA  ?

The problem is, I must have received at least 100 "second and final notices", and I do NOT have ANY credit cards.
It said press "3" to be removed from the database. Fat chance because they keep calling back from a different number.

This is a company that is obviously breaking the law - and scoffs at the laws of this country - they USED the do-not-call database to get the phone numbers they call and every scumbag that works for them deserve to have every inch of flesh flogged off of their backsides because they are all bottom-feeding scumbags.

Do not even bother filing a complaint because the government has proven that it will NOT prosecute these scumbags - and I am certain that the sole purpose of this do not call database is to provide the702se companies with valid phone numbers otherwise we would see EVERYONE OF THEM behind bars!

I received a call from 702-520-2310 today at 3:25 pm EST, and the caller ID said NOT DO                    
I knew this was a BS call just by that alone. It is a Nevada area code, and they left no message. I am tired of people
wasting my time with these calls. I am on the DO NOT CALL List but that doesn't help at all. After reading some of the responses on here, it seems to be a telemarketer.
The only advice I can give, is don't even waste your time to pick up this call.    
 

How do we stop these calls from happening?!?!?
Pressed one to speak to someone to ask that I be removed from their list and I get a recording stating the mailbox is unavailable.

I am on the DNC list.  Why do I still get these calls.

Received multiple calls from this number. On DNR. Do not answer when unknown caller.

This is a marketing company. I called their number back and they offered to allow me to be on their DNC list, so I opted in.

I did not answer, they did not leave a message.....I am so tired of these!!!!   my caller id says "NOT DO", AND I DID NOT ANSWER!!!!

You might want to re-think your comment. I have been in my home for almost 14yrs and NEVER been late or missed a payment!!!   I got this call today.

I keep getting calls from this number. They always call while I am at work.  They never answer you or leave a message.

"This is important information about your credit card account" ....
I've received the same recorded message coming in from a variety of different numbers that display, about once a month.
My phone number is registered with National Do Not Call Registry.  
The callers appear to bounce their outgoing calls thru different numbers.  
I usually don't pick up, and when I don't no message is left.  
There were extenuating circumstances this time and I answered  
By the way, last year I listened to the whole message, pressed whatever the response key I was told to press to receive no more calls, and was told by recording my name would be removed within 72 hours.  Obviously this just doesn't happen.  They just keep using the same recorded message (woman's voice) and routing through different outgoing phone numbers.  
I try not to answer ANY phone call whose number I don't recognize ... if it's important, they will leave a message.

Recommend you save the number on your cell phone as a new contact whose name is Unknown and add it to your Reject Call group.

Received a call from this number today at about 11:30 AM on my landline. This number apparently belonged to a woman who did not know about the "Do Not Call"; she must have been on every telemarketer's list you can think of.

I have been receiving the SCAM call from various phone numbers in several states, most notable New Hampshire & Washington state. The scam has to do with having Credit Card debt of $4000+. Here is the rub: I must have "at least one Credit Card in good standing", meaning it is not overdrawn & I am making regular payments. You do not have to have a PHD to know once I would give that information to the scammer, the "good standing" status would disappear faster than a speeding bullet.

Other posters are correct . . . pressing "3" to have your name deleted is a lie. It does not happen.

I have taken a suggestion one other person has suggested: I press "1" to speak to a person. When that person begins to speak, I blow a whistle in their ear as loud as I can. Maybe that will get them to delete my number.If not, I still am left with the satisfaction I had the last "word" in the call.

I just got a call from this number and I did not pick up, as I don't for most calls that I don't know.  They failed to leave a message as well and by the notes on here I'm not missing much so I will continue to ignore.  Recently my cell phone has been blowing up with spam callers so some company must have sold my number. Is there a way to stop these calls or will I be burdened for as long as I have this number??

Missed call from this phone number and returned the call.  I was told this was an affordable car insurance opportunity.  I tried to call back and received a recording "if I don't want to receive calls from this number..."  There is something wrong with this organization.

21 June 2013 -- 2:05 pm -- Caller ID said "unknown".  A robo message was left concerning sale of timeshares.

they keep callling me but never leave a message. Very annoying. But I have a policy of never answering calls I don't recognize. If it's important, they'll leave a message- by a person, not a machine.

Thank God for caller ID, otherwise I'd spend all my time talking to these idiots who call, instead of reporting them.
