Calls several times a day, I always answer and they just hang up.

This number keeps calling me claiming I've been approved for a loan luckily they leave a message every time but I did tell them that I'm not interested the first time they still keep calling me

called at 7:26 AM  no message - When returned msg comes on that office hours are  pE and 8C. Why would you call when there is no chance of returning call until later and why would you be calling so early in the morning. AND why would you not list the name and nature of your business.  

These people/companies are the scum of the earth. Please DO NOT apply for a "payday" load, you will regret it. I get between 30 -40 calls A DAY from these numbers, they never leave a message they just hang up. High interest payday loans are illegal in New York and several companies have been shut down for trying to get around giving these loans by using the internet. Visit the NYS Department of Financial Services website for information on this. They have an online form you can submit if you want to file a complaint. These people are relentless and will not give up. I think 30 or 40 calls a day is harassment and I will be reporting these numbers to the phone company for whatever good that will do. The DNC (do not call) lists are useless, I have my phone numbers on all of them and I still receive countless calls every day. I wonder what my neighbors think when my phone is ringing constantly all day when I am at work. They call up until 9 or 10 at night. Stay away from these people, you will regret it. Eventually they will stop calling. This happened before for several weeks. I do not answer the phone if I don't recognize the number. It did stop for quite a while, but then it recently started up again when they are calling constantly. Try not to let it bug you, just ignore the calls, and eventually they will give up.

I just went crazy on these people.  Call upon call upon call upon call upon call for weeks now.  It doesn't matter who I talk to or how many people I talk to saying the same thing, they are continuing to call.  I am filing a complaint with the county sheriff's office and if I get one more single solitary phone call I am contacting the Attorney General of Pennsylvania.  I encourage others that are getting these calls to contact your local authorities--municipal police stations may be able to help but you'll be better off going to your county sheriff.  Contact the Attorney General of your state.  This is outrageous.  I forced the person on the other end to say "Yes" or "No" when I told them that I had filed charges with the county sheriff's department.  They kept saying "OK" FIVE TIMES and I had to literally say, "DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I TOLD YOU ABOUT FILING CHARGES WITH MY LOCAL SHERIFF, SAY 'YES' OR 'NO'."

Just got a call two third number they r using they are scammers telling u owe them money and the are paralegals very rude. I've contacted my authorities it's harrassment

I have begun to get these calls coming with different numbers but always from the same guy.  Lately they have been coming later at night.  I have been getting two to three calls a day.  The ones that I answer I have requested that I not be called anymore.  He continues.  I am now in the process of gathering as much information as I can to turn this into the State Office for harrassment charges to be filed.

Don't  know who these people are but they call from various numbers and at any time. This morning they started early.  They may rest for a month or two and start again with calls from New York, California, Nevada, Minnesota, Indiana, wherever --one after another.  They are asking for a "Mark" or say nothing at all.  The most recent callers have an accent. This has been going on for about two years. Unfortunately when you try to return the call to the number to ask for the Company name, you receive the recorded message that the call cannot be completed as dialed. Some calls come in under "No ID". It  cannot possibly be legitimate and appears to be a scam. Wish there were a way to block this harassment.

2nd call today, both from 702 area code.  I don't have a payday loan, haven't applied for one, and have no idea who these people are.  I answered this one and heard a buzz and then it hung up.  Creeps

Caller wanted to know if I had any payday loans that I would like to consolidate, even after I told them  I was not who they were looking for.

It is a payday loan scam. I have not applied for one & don't know how they got my cell number. This is one of many numbers they use.
They will not stop calling no madder how many times I tell them I did not apply for a loan & don't want one.
Always someone with a thick Indian accent.
I have started answering & telling them every time you call me I am going to eat a cow.

Have received many calls from this number recently, though I've never had anything to do with a payday loan.  There is often no one actually at these numbers, they are often just robot-initiated calls.  They may claim to be "payday loan" calls, but they are just harassment and invasion of privacy, plain and simple.  Probably tracking location and phone state, etc.  Why else would they keep calling when they know there is no money to be made?  Unfortunately, the phone carriers won't step in and trace down who is actually initiating the calls, for that, you have to go to the police.  Save your call logs and block future calls.

JUST GOT A CALL AFTER SEVERAL HANG UPS. I called back and told them to remove my phone and they said they would add it to the do not call list.

this people are scams. why cant these people leave me alone. they call and they have a bad accent. i told them i cant understand you and hung up so they call me over and over again saying i have a loan or i am accepted for a loan.  I will never give my information to people who can even speak english. this people suck

I've been receiving calls from them all day also! It's irritating, I tried being nice and telling them that they have the wrong number, but by about the 4th time I was irritated. And they started yelling at me telling me that I did apply, when I have no clue what they are talking about them. I'm reporting all of the phone numbers that they've called me from, and I'm filing a report. They are harassing.

I have gotten calls like this all day these are the #'s 1-443-403-2041,1-813-398-1156,816-189-2472,1-401-648-7436, 1-702-520-5291-866-321-4151,345-493-8399, 248-123-4779, 1-234-294 and several others they are calling me every 2 to 3 mins, the last number that called me 443-403-2041 asked for a chick named Brittney and when I said there is no Brittney her stop calling he said i want to f*** you what is your price I have called my local policed department and they told me there is nothing they can do these people are driving me crazy I am on the DNC list and I have called my phone company and they say the same thing that they can not do anything about it. I have gotten calls for some Frankie Acosta I tell them they have the wrong number they keep calling I have even gotten mail at my house for this Frankie Acosta from a payday loan place.. I have never applied for a payday loan and I want them to stop

Same thing here. This sample group of men w/ middle eastern accents keeps calling my cell phone from different numbers. They are scammers and trying to get you to pay a fake loan. I have reported every number they call from to the Federal Trade Commission. I will keep doing so. If needed I will contact my local authorities.

Ive started calling them back numerous times and bugging them. If everyone else would do that maybe they would  quit. Its usually imbred rag heads that call.

I just got off the phone with one of these guys, I have been receiving these calls all day today and yesterday on my DNC listed cell phone.  No one answered under this number (702) 520-5291 but then 20 min later, I got another call from (202) 241-4756 and got someone who answered.  It was a guy with a heavy accent who was looking for 'Compton' and refused to remove my number without me revealing my actual name to him. He was rude and actually hung on me when I asked who his company was.  I've gotten text messages and calls for this 'Compton' person/company for months now and no matter what I do they won't take me off their list.

I've also received an 'unknown' caller, one with a more local area code but no answer (like the rest) and a text message that are all possibly related to this all in the last 90 minutes.

I worked in collections at one point and I know refusing to remove the number of someone you aren't calling is against most company policies. I am not Compton and I don't know what it even is.  I don't know if there is an legal issue with it, but if it continues, I will be looking into it.  The problem is that they keep switching numbers.
